This litter has been planned for 2 years now with the selected male and female. For any of those who know anything about the ACTUAL Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog breed and it's original strains it took to create the breed by the founder Lana Lou Lane. In Lana's breeding records, she mainly used Carr Whited English Bulldogs ((as well as other strain of WEB's (white English Bulldogs)) crossed with Louisiana Catahoula Leopard Dog then bred back to WEB's. Thus, keeping the array of colors from the Catahoula but maintaining the physic, mentality, stability and integrity of the WEB. This breeding was the result of hours upon hours of pedigree research by myself, the late Al Walker, Heather Wilkins and several others. Over the years, a lot of breeders have intentionally or unintentionally bred less then desirable mates due to lack of pure gene pool to chose from. This is due primarily to the passing of the late Lana Lou Lane. To correct what others have done, this breeding is a Out-Cross breeding. Out-Crossing is generally considered breeding with no common ancestors within the first 4-5 generations but back to the original stock. This is typically a "fix all" method to produce healthier pups and reduce the risks of hereditary defects and diseases. This also promotes for the betterment of the breed and future generations of pups. This litter produced will not be for sale. Some will be given to other Lana Breeders and most will be kept and bred back to some of the best untainted, quality males/females that I have recently discovered in Southern Ga. Several strains of stock that Lana hand selected had placed with folks in her area with the intentions to keep the best of the best close by for future breeding's. Her untimely death prevented her from doing so but these gent's kept the lines going. This IS AS PURE as you can get.
