Description
Star Australian Shepherds has been around since 1996. We strive to breed Aussies that will improve upon our breed as we know it now. Our first objective is to produce puppies with sound temperaments described by our breed standard;
Temperament
The Australian Shepherd is an intelligent, active dog with an even disposition; he is good natured, seldom quarrelsome. He may be somewhat reserved in initial meetings. Faults Any display of shyness, fear or aggression is to be severely penalized.
The following are our next objective, all rolled into one; Beauty, Biddability, Conformation and Intelligence. All of these objectives combined are what we strive to improve.

I"m happy to say that Star Australian Shepherds produced one of only 4 Aussies in the United States to garner an All Breed Best In Show (AKC) as well as a Best In Show Specialty Win (USASA)in 2009 with BIS BSS CH Star's Gold Ringer pictured below.
