Yes I agree, you have AWESOME Mali's VLA.  this is one of my Rocky Mountains, I have 3 that all look exactly the same. they have blonde mane/tails.

Teeth Smile I thought the parents, in particular, looked familiar!

I got to meet Czar a few weeks ago. His owner trains at the club I do, even thoguh I haven't been there as much as I would like lately. She is awesome!

Czar is SO cute, and super smart already! She has him taught a few commands already, including "giddy up" (heeling between her legs). His focus is very nice - plus, he is a bit of a shark! Them teeth hiurt! :)

I like the fact I have a choice of different colors and different hair lengths for my clients.  the ones with the longish hair sold first..

This is interesting.  Personally I like the longer haired ones, but I have found they tend to be the hardest ones to place from a litter.  On more than one occasion they were a buyer's first pick for temperament, drives, etc but when I assured them the hair was going to be a little longer and the puppy wasn't just going through a fluffy stage that would shed out, they passed on it for the pup they liked second best.

My current fuzzy at 8 weeks old

And 4 or 5 months old.

THAT pup is so BEAUTIFUL!!!!

Yes right, on the last ones normally to be picked longish hair ones. I had smart people go for the drives and character.
Even the European that I gave second pick to wanted Czar #1, their second pick was the one I posted Connner who also had longish hair.

I waited one year for a litter from NL from a KNPV PH1 female Bjorna, I was second on the list for the pick, thankfully they went for the male pick and I got the only female in the litter Lea, she also had longish hair and shed out to have normal coat.
She even had feathered ears.
I was not picking for coat length either.

It seems they shed for the summer and have slightly longer hair in the winter.
Might be a great idea for owners to pick longish coat mali's that live in extreme cold winter conditions Teeth Smile

There are 4 types of Belgium Shepards. I will name them the Belgium name.... Mechelse, Tervurenaar, Laekense and Groenendaaler. The 1e is mostly short hair the 2e long hair the 3e curly hair and the last is long black hair.
They all have there own pedigree, Lets talk about the Mail, in Belgium and the Netherlands, pups from 2 pedigree parents Mail will always get a Mail pedigree no metter for how long the hair is ( Also with Tervurenaars)

In other country's like Cz they look at the lenght of the hair and give them a mail pedigree when short hair and the litter sisters or borthers with longer hair will get a Tervurenaars pedigree. That is why i have a import dog from 2 full Mail parents with a Tervurenaars pedigree.

When (in the Netherlands) we have a Mail pup with longer hair there is an option the test it at a year old, if he is conferm the standard he can get a new pedigree as Tervurenaar, other way around never happens for all i know.

Vicki be proud of your litter, they all doing great and have great bloodlines!!
