BE, just let it slide off your shoulders, cant please everybody, especially on the net, I see people putting on a bitesuit for the first time, and 12 months later they are giving bitework seminairs LOL

this week a guy selling dogbiscuits told me I cannot be sending German shepherds to Australia for LE, because he kows everybody, and they dont buy GSD and dont buy from abroad, LOL, internet is full of opinions and its not worth getting upset about

when Valk and Centurion give their opinion on my pup, I dont feel bad, gives reason for conversation and maybe people pick something up from that

duke, i do remember that discussion and i remember that i didn't gave my opinion about that pup due to the test being narrowly purposed and incomplete to have clear picture of pup's personality.
but i agree with you that emotional stress to an everything been posted on net, not worth it. people are different, with different ideas, perceptions, knowledge and experience. and so their opinions, which has the right to be heard just like our personal opinions.

Bärenfangs Erbe I appreciate the insight; I will monitor the mothering closely although I sense the pups will be robust.  This Mali is higher energy and athletic than most GSDs and is accustomed to exercise - including the day before whelping and the day after.  Maybe this is a factor, maybe not.

This is her at around 12-13 mos.  Fun session in the park with muzzle on/muzzle off familiarization and tug of war.  Not a joke that she is in superb physical condition.  Pedigree is not online; sire is nearly 3 gens Czech bred and dual LEK9 in US Southeast; dam is primarily from KNPV lines.

Think I can say I have never 'shredded' anything of yours; often the opposite. None of us who commented on your vid said anything nasty, none of us tried to 'advise' you, we acknowledged different ways of doing things, just said which way we might have wanted to do it. Jeez, talk about being oversensitive and hitting out at the wrong targets.

People are all different, dogs are all different.

I am sorry if I overshot. I have to admit I am on edge with all of this going on. Haven't had income for two months and just got an email from the State Department that we won't get essential status. Also looks like we are not going to be able to open up on May 15th since we won't fall under Phase 1. No loans available, no unemployment coming in and the rent for my shop is due. I thought I was okay with sacrificing for the pandemic and for a while I was at ease because I knew I was going to have the puppy money to bridge us over and then the transmission AND catalytic converter on the van crapped out... I know this is off topic but yeah...I'm definitely on edge and reacted oversensitive.

@GK1: looks like a fun dog. I guess a high energy dog could make a more independent mother? While I've owned Mals, I haven't had a super high energy one yet. They all were more on the balanced/shepherdy side. Except for Bullet maybe but even he settled nicely.

I really enjoyed the vid BE and seeing the pups reactions to new stimuli. never considered the mom being present nor even being a factor at this age.

glad you reconsidered continuing your contributions because they are some of the more interesting.

I also took note of the different ways others approach things like this, and as always there are things that get lost in the translation.

best,
Rik
