Van Aqualand has been breeding Bouvier des Flandres since 1995.

The aim is to breed a 'complete' Bouvier, which meets the breed standard both internally (character, temperament, work ethic, etc.) and externally (beauty). By setting the bar so high, it is very difficult to find the right (parent) combination.

A Bouvier cannot be just beautiful or just a good working dog, a Bouvier must be a combination of both. This is unfortunately not the aim of every Bouvier breeder, but it is certainly the goal I have at 'Van Aqualand Bouviers'!

I only breed with parents that are healthy, have been examined for hip, elbow dysplasia and eyes (ICAA) and which have obtained a working certificate (IPO/KNPV/CQN) and/or whose parents and/or grandparents possess one or more working certificates.
With the females I breed with, I regularly visit (inter)national dog shows at home and abroad, where they achieve excellent results. Several of my bitches are (Multi) beauty champions.
Bouviers bred by me find their way all over the world (Belgium, Germany, Denmark, Finland, Russia, South Africa, U.S.A., Canada).
