Moja Sobaka means in Russian 'my dog'. My first breed was the Samoyed, a breed originally coming from Siberia. A couple of  years I enjoyed to train my dog for the sleddograces, but in the Netherlands we barely have snow in the winter, so you have to travel a lot to find some snow for running your dogs in front of a sled. So, I decided to switch breed. 

My second breed was the Dutch Shepherd and I started to train it in IPO. With my FCI-pedigreed Dutch Shepherd "Rob Roy v.d. Vastenow" I achieved the IPO-3 diplom. His litter-sister "Reza v.d. Vastenow" I trained for 2 1/2 months and with her I achieved a IPO-1 grade.  "Eelco v.d. Vastenow" I have also trained. He got too a IPO-1 diplom. Besides these shorthaired Dutch Shepherds I have had a longhaired Dutch Shepherd. "Cyhig Cay van 't Hoogbloklands Erf" was the first longhaired Dutch Shepherd in the Netherlands with the highest grade in obedience: G&G-3. I love to train my dogs.

In 2004 I bought a female Belgian Shepherd Malinois puppy. I called her "Scelta", which means in Italian 'choice'. My choice to start with policedog training and my choice to switch from the Dutch Shepherd to the Belgian Shepherd. In july 2007 she achieved with 422 points her Policedog Certificate. She learns fast, has a lot of drive, a full bite and is very social. With her I hope to breed good working dogs.

Main purpose of my kennel is to breed healthy, social dogs with all the qualities needed for dogs trained for search and protectionpurposes.

Besides the activity of dogtraining, I am also occupied as an FCI exterior judge of  the following breeds: Akita Inu, Alaska Malamute, Dutch Shepherd and Samoyed.
