Red Sable,

(Vertigo can be a symptom.)

Thanks Beetree, that is what I think it is.  My husband and I are having major disagreements over this because it doesn't bother him, so he thinks it isn't bothering me, although I have many of the symptoms.

Thus the verbal abuse, I mentioned on another thread.

Red Sable,

How long has that been going on?

The most *common* causes of vertigo would be benign positional hypotension, dehydration or medications.

Red Sable.....I had vertigo about 2 years ago.....I sympathize with you completely. mine was caused by fluid in my ear....I had no pain just the spinning and the nausea. Dr. prescribed a medication to help dry up the fluid. After at least a week it started to get better. I am a RN and most of my experience with patients with vertigo was due to inner ear issues like fluid or infection.......It might be a good idea to get it checked as soon as possible.....Hope you get to feeling better soon...

Red Sable
The feeling of Pressure is maybe because you have a head cold, But without the usual snuffles that go with it, a dry head cold It could also be TInitus or the start of it anyway if the head is not clear then it will affect the Balance
One other thing which is very important, It could also be that you are suffering from HIgh Blood Pressure, that will also affect your balance  so that alone needs to be checked out by your doctor very soon
Last Year our elder sister was staying with us on holuday she complained of feeling light headed and off balance, then she fell over twice, I called the Doctor and he said her blood pressure was high, He gave her a note to get the pills off my Health Insurance, and it put her right over 3 days taking them, since she has been to her own Doctor but she still has a lower degree of  high Blood Pressure, So get it checked out, he will check your ears at the same time Do not leave it as it will not cure its self, I hope all is well and it is but a minor ailment

Red Sable,
Sorry to hear your suffering.  BTW, what is a black mold factory?
You should seek medical advise for any unexplained symptoms (like dizziness/ vertigo/ migraines) to rule out potentially serious conditions.  Take care x.

Hi guys.  My blood pressure is very good(well normally, probably not so good lately).  The vertigo has stopped ( it was always really nasty when I'd lie down) now I just feel light headedness and still the fullness in the ears.

Poiseidon, we lived in an old farm house, which has black mold under the wall paper and coming through into the living room ceiling.  After reading the ill effects of mold, and much nagging by me, we built a new house, right beside it.  However, my husband (who is a procrastinator of the worst kind) still  hasn't gotten rid of the old house and opens our new houses windows adjacent to it, which lets all the nasty little mold spores come right in.

With all the rain we've gotten the mold is having a field day over there, and I have a  stuffy nose, sore throat, a feeling of  the bla's and now this vertigo, nausea and vomiting.  It could very well be an ear infection, but I still think it is caused by the mold.  I hope I'm wrong, because mold can also cause cancer and if I get that, you may hear of a murder in Ontario Canada.

Hi Red Sable.  If it's black mold it is extremely dangerous and you should not be near it even when you knock the house down as the spores are in the air.  Sometimes symptoms from the mold are almost immediate and other times gradually.  You might just have a sinus infection or allergies after being subjected to mold for sometime.  I hope that you feel better and everything works out for you.  Oh and if their is a murder I will forget that you even said that. ;)
