I am new to this site and it is truly unfortunate when people are not sophisticated enough to be able to express themselves in a professional and constructive manner. I think it is important for reasonable members to support each other, and I cannot blame you for your decision. However, there will always be the few morons, bigmouths, and busybodies who have so little to do and such a lack of self-respect and courtesy that it makes me feel embarrassed to read their hate-filled messages. So it is always sad to lose a voice of reason.

I would suggest that if someone chronically posts foul, rude, and otherwise mean and nasty messages, that members voluntarily refuse to respond to his/her tirades. Maybe by not blowing on the fire, it might eventually burn itself out. Just a suggestion.

I hope we can all support an atmosphere of dignity and civility.

I have said this before and will say it once again. It is one thing to disagree on an issue like whether one should feed raw or vaccinate or breed a given dog. Opinions on such issues should be founded in facts and experience, but yes, sometimes people disagree on such issues and this is the kind of place where such issues can be discussed.

It is quite another matter to simply spew crap, saying things that are not founded in fact. And worse, it denigrates the entire purpose of this site to come here as DR has done time and time again and post crap about Muslims, as an example, or Jews as another poster does over and over again. This is not the place for it.

In the case of DR, if one disagrees with anything he says, then he has, time and time again, mounted a crass and juvenile PERSONAL attack against those people akin to what we might see with a five year old throwing a temper tantrum. He has done this with Sue, Two Moons, Me, a police officer who comes here, as well as others. In the meantime, he has NEVER posted a single informative post about any issue of import related to the GSD breed. I wonder why? My answer is because he doesn't really have anything to contribute.

I don't dislike him. I feel sorry for him that he is supposedly an adult and cannot participate here and learn without writing some of the childish things he has written. More often than not, he just comes and posts something like his "Stance on Muslims" (as if any of us gave a damn about his inability to separate the acts of a few from an entire ethnic and religious group of people all over the world). Or he posts some disgraceful comments about members of this forum who have been here for a long time and who have often contributed. This time some of his cronies have abandoned him so he runs.....as he has done before and will again.

One need not agree on dog related issue or any issue presented here. That is the nature of discourse. And properly conducted, discussion can be beneficial. But one should have impulse control and be civil.  In his case, we see that over and over again, after people get sick of it he then lamely makes an insincere attempt to "apologize" when, in fact, he does not mean it and  continues harassing people and being rude. Forums do not need people who post the crap he posts.

I had to comment one more time (OMG..I'm "going" there!) regarding this thread.   

What I don't get is this thread that DR started (scroll up and re-read) is such a contradiction to the thread titled "Rectal Issue" that seems to have been made around the same time frame.  Very hypocritical, contrary, etc. 

Kind of like promoting Peace while lighting a bomb.  I don't get it.     Just my opinion.   Now - back to your regular programing.

It's too soon to celebrate, I'm sure he'll be back.  Probably with a different name.  Guess, I won't collect on his bet...grrrrrr

desert....   I personally dont want to see you go...as I don't agree with everything you write,  you stand up for what you beleave,  I asked a while ago for EVERYONE to stop this & it turned into another  bashing session again... but I wish you'd stay........
