My dad sent one to me for a gift when he saw it on TV & the shipping took forever... It looks pretty flimsy and he even selected the "up-grade" delux version. I have not tried it yet mostly because my dogs have no issues getting their nails clipped with regular clippers & have never had their nails grinded. Plus after reading this I don't know if I'm even going to bother putting batteries in the darn thing. If I do, I'll probably just use it to smooth out any rough edges after I clip the nails.

Glad I saw this, thanks guys. I was going to order one myself. I saw them on Ebay though for the ultra delux fro $129.00 with a cord.
I think i'll go to the pawn shop and buy a used dremel i am sure I can get one there cheap!!

Got my Pet-a-cure yesterday! I assembled it, it does have a cord, & an 18v engine, did my 2 big dogs nails this AM...not quite as quick as I thought it would be, but they were terribly long....I was saving the task of nail clipping for the tools arrival....it'e great! I love it! Kali did ok with it....Beckett was much more willing with this than with the clipper, & his nails were easy. Tomorrow I'm off work, Carl & I will tackle the puppies! I just love it when something works just the way it's supposed to! I'm glad Carl was there for the assembly, the instructions weren't too clear, but , other than that, I give it.........
!!! Yay!! jh
OK---I didn't read the other posters comments before I posted...now I hope the thing lasts....but I'm still happy, for now....& it came with 20 refill bands! jh
