My dogs don't like anyone approaching the door. THe mailman one day tried to "make friends" with Agar while we were on a leisure walk and he asked if he could give him a treat as a "peace offering" lol Agar took the bone (meaty bone) from his hand and dropped it to the ground without attempting to eat it. THe mailman was puzzled as these treats he claimed are the neighborhood dogs favorites. Agar won't take a treat from your hand. He's used to treats and food only given in his bowl so I assume this was his way of saying "thanks but no thanks I just don't know you like that". lol But he has no problem sneakin a treat from the baby if she offers it to him. lol

My brindle dog and my black dog both hated mailmen, fedx, UPS, it didn't matter. It got so bad, they just started throwing the boxes at Christmas time over the fence, and just took off. LOL

That is funny. If you could train them not to let them out of the car (Jahovah's), let me know how.......lol.

My guy loves the mailman, but I was fortunate to have been able to introduce the two of them several times while my boy was a very young pup. Now he doesn't even flinch when the post comes, and if he sees the mailman, he can't wait to say hello.
