Absolutely!!! I tell them "Happy Birthday" and give the birthday dog a nice rib eye (the other gets a cheaper cut and smaller). My male gets excited when he hears Happy Birthday, even if it is said on TV. :-) the bitch is only a year old and hasn't "got it," yet. ...but, she will!!

Tillamook  makes Huckleberry Ice Cream. It is mostly vanilla and has a swirl of huckleberry in it. Whoever asked, huckleberries are a wild berry kinda taste like blueberries.

Psycht , now that is to cute!

No cake for my dogs. My husband has them begging enough as it is at meal time. He does it just to piss me off because T will lay there staring at the plates and drooling and it drives me nuts.
This plate wasn't worth wating for...

I usually pick them something up, special dinner or icecream maybe. Our local icecreamer sells pints of old icecream of all the flavors except chocolat from the bottomes of the barrels and sells them for 50cents. Sometimes a pigs foot, rawhide bone or just hang out with my dog a little longer than normal, but I always do something to aknowledge his day of birth. It's a week after my b-day so I can't forget. They only live once and a short while like Harley said.

I have never gone as far as making or ordering a cake for my dog and throwing a party, I just hand them what I picked up for them, no gift wrapping.

Huckleberries look like big blueberries, but taste better. :-)
