Can these be bought in the big pet stores like Petsmart or Petco?

Tigerlily,
Yes, I buy them at Petsmart, but Dawgesome is right you have to make sure the bag is closed all the way or else they are very hard.

I've used them too and actually they are not too too terrible to spit.  Not that I do it often!

I don't spit... I always swallow... Oh did I say that out loud?  Seriously, I have no idea what they taste like.  I don't spit my dog treats so I can't vouch for the taste.  LOL

My old odg would rip my pockets out of my shirts or pants if I left treats in them,  I wouldnt even have to take the shirt off  just fall asleep.  So I leraned to never leave food in the pockets or use a tret bib

are these pretty simular to the bill jac? My young dog loves those treats?

LOL Yvette!

Hot dogs get really salty when using them to spit, sometimes same with cheese.  That coupled with he fact that I'm a spaz about it.  The zukes aren't so bad.   I don't exactly walk around with a mouthful of them either.

Ive used the Zukes also. I found them at an agility trial when  I went to watch a friend compete. My dogs absolutely LOVE them!! I ran out so I need to get some more.
