I looked at Mason's but the only outdoor ones I saw on their site is made from chain link.  Do you have a link for the ones you're talking about?

options plus kennels  I have these no problem, I am surre that you aware that any kennel should be maintain or the rust will always win it over? Especially if you have high humidity.

I emailed options plus last night. Already got a response "We've improved our paint process since you last bought, for the same reasons as yours. FL humidity is tough on steel, so we recommend a clear-coat be applied every six months to prevent rusting (can be applied with a standard sprayer). Cleaning should not be an issue, as long as the solution is not overly strong. Since you have had issues with our product, please call us at.."

so i will call and talk to them.

i just buy the one from menards, they have  a welded kennel not chain link and its held up pretty good.
i have had it for 4 years with no rust.

These look pretty good. Galvanized after welding. I have no experience with them.
