I have been in other forums where the same type of behavior occurred. These were just general message boards, and were more heavily moderated so that individuals were banned for violating TOS. They always managed to come back, despite how many times they were banned. There are certain individuals for whom this behavior is almost addictive, and they get a huge kick out of riling people up regardless of the topic.
There is no real solution except to ignore such people.

You can please {convince} some of the people most of the time, BUT you can't please {convince} most of the people most of the time.
