i actually noticed that too.  One had a very short cycle that i could tell, and the other one who should have come in in June, still hasn't.

There is a solar burst occurring right now, which has not happened in
a long time. Perhaps it is causing fluctuations in the life cycle. This summer seems kind of strange,
with the heat. I remember two big heat waves that were doozies. It seem they last for a couple
of years and than things go back to normal......Global warming?

Perhaps your significant other got sick of puppies and fixed them while you were away! ;)

Sam.
What kind of overseer would post such a thing about puppy's. Shame on you.

Dogs are different, each one.
It's hot and humid here, oppressive, and Maddy appears to be coming in.

I know some animals are effected by their environment and can alter their breeding practices
Heat, water, food supplies, fear.    Enough stress can cause changes.

But just hot weather and a dog, I still don't think it's the heat.

I am dealing with same situation in MId Atlantic area.Only one female here though,so maybe this case is not the existing curve.

I'm dealing with weirdness in 3 females right now. One "silent heat"- no signs until one day she's flagging my males, and 2 that the males are attracted to, but no blood, and they're not interested. About to pull my hair out.
