Yes, I wear and recommend Muck Boots. I prefer Hoser Classic Mid - 12 inches tall (3/4 height). They are carried a most feed stores here in California.

I wear the Mucks during the winters here while training. They keep my feet dry, warm and they have enough tread to keep me safe. I found that the Bogs did not work as well as the Muck, despite the fact that the Bogs are a Seattle brand. The Bogs don't provide as much traction, so I use them away from the training/tracking fields. The bogs look better ,too. :-)

For tracking boots I have tried many. I finally found some that are very affordable (love the bogs but choke on the price every time I almost buy them).
I buy Sloggers Garden boots. They are very well made and unlike most of the wet weather boots I have, these actually have really good tread on the bottom so no more slipping around on dew soaked grass or rain soaked muddy paths.
I buy a size larger than I normally wear to I can use super thick ski socks, which makes a huge difference.

I use Muckmaster Muck boots.  My first pair got a crack in them after a year, and the site I bought them from gave me new ones free of charge.  Mine are the 16" high and the rubber goes up pretty high.  Besides that crack, I've never had them leak.  They are warm and comfortable, just pretty heavy but there are different styles that aren't as thick.  I got a thicker style b/c they are my winter boot as well as my tracking boot.  I like the tread and they are super easy to get off without having to touch them (the tread goes up the back of the heel and I have a cinder block I use for taking them off).  The are not cute like Boggs but I can't see how anything would fit my needs any better.

Soggy and cold Karrimor snowboots - for seriously cozy toes!

Boggy - Muckboots the hi leg but with shorter welly part old style with the really good grip sole

For tracking I use Muckboots Edgewater Hi-Cuts, great support and 100% water proof.  Love'em also because I can fold the tops down for tracking when it's really warm out.

thanks for the recommendations. I've had my waterproofs from Cabelas for several years and don't think they will make it through another winter.

I have knee high Bog boots, they have flowers on them, they do keep my feet dry and warm.
Always,
