Froggy, your attitude to the stewards in Scotland is appalling. You were a mere tadpole when these people were showing and breeding their dogs - they are not only stewards but judges also. All the people you mention have bred and shown GSD for many many years and just because they no longer show does not mean they cannot use their knowledge and expertise to help out us younger fellows. You ought to show some respect for these people and if you don't like the stewards in Scotland then don't bother to come up here then, we can do without your attitude in any part of the UK. Sophie hit the nail on the head.

Froggy with reference to the scottish stewards you ask WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE? These people have been involved in this breed for a very long time more than the twenty plus years that I have known them all have served on gsd club committee's, they have all judged this breed at some time and have all bred and exhibited in the past. They give up there time to steward at shows and I have never known them to take any expences. We should be grateful for people like them. Also 2 of these ageing Scots (sorry Jean & Sinclair) Where the people who gave me a great deal of encouragement when I first became interested in showing. I used to spend hours at there house going through books and watching video's. They allowed me to handle there bitches in the ring and intoduced me to Christine Gillies whom I purchsed my first show dog from in 1987 named Delcost Status Quo. Linda Barclay Korzwin GSDs
