Bob-O, I have tried a few premium foods but have had a real problem keeping weight on my bitch. She is so busy all the time that she runs it all off. But I have found a food called Azmira and have had her on it for about two weeks. Her coat is like a puppy's to the touch and I can't believe the gleam. In the first week she gained two pounds. So far no eye cruds or itching. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it works for her. If I'm not mistaken it was developed by a Vet. Hmmm..a vet and nutrition issues. Might want to take that with a grain of salt, huh?

I have been feeding exclusively Royal Canin for several years. Lately they have started an entire range for shepherds, labradors etc. The old 15kg Maxi Junior is replaced with a 12kg bag tha costs £5 but is supposed to be specifically for german shepherds up to 15mths. The number of changes recently and usually to smaller bags ie: 15kg down to 12kg and the 12kg bag costing more than the old 15kg bag seems a bit gimicky to me. There was nothing wrong with the older maxi junior and the change seems to be another attempt to get more out of the owners. If I can find another quality food I would seriously consider changing. What does the other R.Canin users think ?.
