jfletcher Not meaning to start a fight with you but how many czech dogs have you been around that were not soclaized enough and were nervy? Who imported them, not a name but police, border patrol etc? Asking this is a wanting to learn professional manner.

Kelly and FlyGirl, Thanks so much, maybe I'm biased because I'm her mommy, but I'm in love with her too! She is a black sable, and from what I've heared, sables get darker with age? Not sure if this is true or not, but she does look BLACK in the sun, some parts black, other parts brown, and then a wee bit of tan/mahogany on her legs, and some gorgeous stenceling on her toes and paws. I like the looks of your girl (Kelly M Shaw), but to be honest, I cant really tell from the picture, is she black sable, or REALLY DARK sable? Or, am I wrong all-together? :) Blitz, She's a crazy one, thats for sure! I am focusing on drives right now...I cant even move without her either launching herself on my pant leg, or if nothing else following me closely! I am VERY happy with her, and to be 100% honest, the transition from Golden Retrievers to a Workingline GSD, wasn't all that bad!

Blue - you're going to enjoy the sable coat. It changes as they age and with the seasons. My old lady is a sable - her coat is really interesting to watch. Depending on the season, she's redder and darker or more tan and lighter(probably due to her level of "underwear"). And as she's gotten older, her coloring is much more rich in tone (except where she's going grey, like her feet and muzzle).

Kelly M Shaw

Blueskyekennels, I honestly don't know what way she is going to turn. I think she's a dark sable right now, but she can lighten up or go darker. Her mom is a black sable. She is the lightest one out of the litter, but her stomach and chest are black. I've always liked the darker colors, but she got my attention some how.

She is a beautiful puppy! I love that black color. She was born about the same time my new puppy was born. http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/489728.html Keep posting new pictures as she grows.
