a floating tumor is usually a mediastinal lymphoma, a cancer. I really doubt that is it. They can come on very fast but generally the first thing you see is short of breath and you don't see that so ,relax,don't worry and go to vet.
Will you please keep us posted? Maybe they should x-ray her belly too in case it is pups and you are seeing it "in the chest'

I went around for about a week calling them the dirt puppies! It was good for a laugh though!
