Melanie,

I avoided this post because I know word's can not make up for your loss, the video's brought tears to my eye's and its not hard to feel a genuine feeling of loss myself.

You have my deepest heart felt sympathie's.

And now I feel the need to get off the computer and find a little peace myself.

May your best memories always be with you,

Brent.

Awwwwww.... dammit.  I am so sorry to hear you lost Chili, Mel. I will always remember her leaping off the dock  into the pond across the street and playing in the Lehigh River with our crew on a hot afternoon. You have my deepest symapthies.

I dug up some pics I had on CD and made this one for my daughter.  I was pregnant with her when I got Chili and had some great pics of them growing up together.

Chili had on of the most beautiful heads I had ever seen on a bitch.  There was a certain way she'd lay down, head leaning back over her shoulders that just took my breath away.  I used to stop and admire her noble expression, savor the moment and wonder If I'd ever have another bitch with a head and face as beautiful as her's...well that's why I have so many headshots of her, incase anyone was wondering, lol.

Melanie, I am so sorry about Chili's loss.  The memorial you did is stunning.  Words can't tell you how much that touched the heart of this person who has also been there so many times and each time is so difficult as these are special creatures.  As the old saying goes, God spelled backwards.  May Andy's slurpies comfort you now, Barb

Absolutely beautiful tribute.  You can see how happy she was, it's evident what a wonderful life she had with your family.  She loved and was loved...and is still loved.  So sorry for your loss.
