I fired up my pc running xp. (fresh HD and OS - no virus etc...)
This page loaded fine with firefox.
IE 6 only loaded the annoying expnding ad at the top.
After a refresh the ad and the forum text loaded - but no pictures. (not even mine)
I ran the scripts to see what mode the browser was in.
CSS1 and standards mode (not quirks mode)
So I was going to right click on an image - to copy an image location to a new window's address bar to see if I could display the image.
I noticed a "show image" option.
I hit that option and a few images showed up.
I did another refresh and they all showed up.
I clicked a few other threads and images work there also.
Add this to my list of IE 6 bugs
I keep this machine for testing pages - so that's why it has bug ridden IE6.
Still fooling around,

Go to the tools pulldown menu, select page info.
Click on media and make sure block images is not checked.
You can also change this setting after clicking permissions.
These settings are site specific so it is possible to have images turned off only for PDB.
My settings were default.
(load images, block pop-up windows, allow cookies, block install extensions or themes)
(block location sharing - Mac version 3.1)
