Rik, I tried laying down the cement only where they track and left the middle alone. Needless to say it was a complete mess and they were digging in the middle, etc, so that's out of the question. I will keep you posted when we try the rubber pavers. If it doesn't pan out then I will be left doing cement :-(

If money wasn't an option, I'd have concrete, but I would build (4) 3'x 6' sections of trex decking for each kennel(6x12 kennel). They can be pulled out and sanitized top and bottom.
