BUMP

Travels, I am sorry that I did not get it posted yesterday as promised, my bad. A flat tire and time in my attorneys office, since tat-pet contacted my employer and has put my employment in jeopardy, kept me from getting over to the vets office since it is an hour away. I can only put out one fire at a time. I will have what you desire by this evening. If anyone of you who donated would like your money back I will gladly return it. Just PM me your request. I also believe that I requested the monies be sent directly to the vets office and the Vets information was posted. I had many ask to contribute via pay pal and I didn't like or want that but finally agreed. At any rate, its kind of difficult to make money by fraud by asking for help for ONE single dog and that was the first time EVER that I have asked! On a side note, the other dog playing with Heidi in the picture is BSP-Sam Kernenturm-schh3. Vickie

Vickie: First off, Heidi looks much better than she did before, good job.

What I am about to say is from the heart:

Darlin', you know  I have always supported you on this forum, but you perhaps  are your own worst enemy.  You  have got to understand that when you start a thread making a promise to provide documentation of a vet bill, you either do it on the day you promised or you come back ON THAT DAY and explain there is a delay and advise when you will provide the documentation.  All that other stuff about paying the vet directly, flat tires, appointments, etc., has nothing to do with this.  In fact you did come on this thread on the 14th, you had time to thank people for their compliments, you should have said something then about not coming though with the promised documentation.

I don't know whether all this is just because you have really bad organizational skills, or what, but there is a very disturbing pattern going on.  More than 10 days ago on another forum, you promised to provide the vet bills for Heidi but you never did.  In 8 months you have never  provided Veronica with the necessary documentation you keep promising her regarding that dog's health issues, either.  Frankly when I take a dog to the vet I always ask for and am given a receipt, copies of test results, etc., and that's from any vet I have ever been to.   Just do what you say you are going to do, Vickie, it's simple.

It seems like you have a lot of excuses, sometimes it seems like you want people to feel bad for you as if that's some kind of excuse for being a little bit flaky, but all that does is piss people off and make them trust you less and less.  The best thing you can do for yourself at this point  is to do what you say you are going to do, when you say you are going to do it, no excuses.

Thank you Sue, way too many excuses.  The victim act doesn't work too well when no documetation is forthcoming.  Empty promises and pleas for pity will not work anymore, it's time to pony up!  And if there is no documentation, at least let people know what's happened to their dogs!

Sueincc, I suppose your right and I guess I am the only person in this world that lives a real life where some things get in the way that are out of my control like a funeral(Cecil Brown of Elk City, an uncle) or a blizzard(I was snowed in and the vet didn't open I believe, we got a record 26 inches of snow). In my defense regarding the promise to the other forum.....I removed the members who were friends on my Facebook at my attorneys advise. As a consequence I was banned from the other forum making it IMPOSSIBLE to post anything. I can't control that. I am in transit now to the vet and pulled over just to answer you. I will post tonight. It might have to be a picture of the record because I can't get my scanner to work but my fax does, so if you want a faxed copy of the original send me a PM with the number. I have nothing to hide hence me posting the vet office address and number. But, Sueincc thank you for the support you have given me. Cheers, Vickie

I have to make a correction......the funeral was Jerry Brown not Cecil. Vickie

Vicki,
I do believe that in everyone's life, they do become their own worse enemy..You are not alone..LOL!!!
However Sueincc did make a valid point and was not ugly about it....
It was a great example of constructive criticism...

Oh come on Vickie, just stop with the excuses and the pitty parties.  2/3/11 You said you were going to get the documentation.  You weren't bounced from that forum until  2/8/11, and you were bounced because you actually removed the owner of that forum as a friend  from your facebook, what did you think would happen?  The vet probably has a perfectly serviceable fax machine and/or scanner, too.

All ANYONE is asking is that you woman up and do what you say you are going to do.  I am not accusing you of not rescuing the dog, I am saying you need to get your shit together,  follow through and just do what you tell people you are going to do.

Instant gratification is not always possible. I am sitting at the vets office now. I have the medical history in hand but apparently they store their itemized receipts some where else because they are having to have that faxed from their records department. Kind of weird and I didn't know they did this. :( grrrr........

by mobjack on 15 February 2011 - 23:02

The vet can't print another receipt off their computer for something that was done only a few weeks ago? Vickie I hate to say it but this sounds like just another made up story or excuse. While I really do not want to believe all the things that are being said and I've taken everything with a grain of salt thus far, the longer you keep this up, the worse it looks for you. As has been said, pony up!

Sue is 100% right. Do what you said you would and could do and all doubt will be removed from everyone's minds.
