She is so cute, I bet she is a handful. I am so happy she has a good home. She was meant to be. Thank you for sharing the pictures.
Always,
Cee

She's cute...Color isn't what I'd like, but she's really a cutie.

Cute pup, looks very similar to an Aussie shep - NOT saying it is a cross breed at all.
Did you have the pup and the dam DNA tested?
Would be very interesting to know if any others have been born in Australia and what lines they are from

Thanks Hawker. We wanted a DNA test done to confirm parentage, had the lab lined up for the test, asked the stud dog's owners if they would provide a swab, at our cost, they said they would think about it, & having apparently thought about it, decided not to provide a swab for testing.  A shame because even though we know that no other dog got at the bitch it would have been nice to have the evidence to silence the skeptics out there, but that's the way it goes sometimes.  It might have also been of interest to the controlling bodies here. One thing for sure, we know a lot more about canine genetics now than we did before 7 March 09.  We have not met anyone in the GSD world in Australia who has even seen a panda let alone admit to having had one in a litter & we're talking about many people who have been involved with GSDs for 20,30,40 or more years.  At this time, we haven't given out any infomration on the parentage but if you're interested, drop us an email, details of which are on our website.

I am  sure no other dog was with your female, all the other pups are true to color standard. As I said they just show up in the population. That is evolution in a nutshell it is in the population. The pup is a cutie and will be charished by her family. She will go on to do great things.
Always,
Cee

Thanks for the reply Incavale.
You may not have named sire and dam, but the thing is with the internet, you have given your kennel name and the dob of the pup, all it would take is someone to go to your website and look at what litters you have had to work out sire and dam.
If it is a mutation then there is nothiing anyone can do about it, IF it is certain lines causing the mutation, well unless tested we wont ever know.

Good luck with your pup - hope she grows up healthily and spends a lifetime being spoilt by her family
