Obama's speech last night was inspired.  If anyone would like to read the transcript, here is a link:

McCain displayed a lot of class in his speech.  I was hoping his supporters would follow his lead, and for just one day at least, be gracious in defeat.  Is that too much to expect?

To all the Obama supporters, enjoy it while you can, because 1 to 2 years from now,  remember back that it was you who voted for him.  Time has a way of bringing the real truth out.

Some of you people crack me up.  Obama won the election, so stop pissing and moaning.  To complain about it the next day is pathetic.  Maybe you should have gotten off your lazy, fat asses and done something prior to the election.  I would like to know how many of the cry-babies actually got involved in the election for McCane?  If you didn't, shut up and call your representative and let them know where you stand on different issues.  Sitting behind a computer, on a dog board, does absolutely nothing but make you look like an ass.

To the people that cry about their guns, you make me laugh.  Unless you have an Uzi or the likes, I don't understand what the fricken deal is.  I read some on here talking about moving overseas.  Great!  Do it and shut up.  Do you actually know what the gun laws are in these countries?  Do you actually believe that these countries allow you the freedoms we have?  Hell, in some countries police don't even carry a sidearm.   Grow the hell up and educate yourself.

As to the complainers and predictions of mass wellfare recipients, do you believe we are currently in a good situation?  Do you like having unemployment rates at an all time high?  Do you like being in the biggest recession since the depression?   Like I said, get off your ass and call your elected officials.  Let them know where you stand.  You do understand that the President does not have the power to do whatever he wants, right?   As to the Welfare situation, how do you know that everyone is going to sit on their ass and collect?  Let's say they do and Obama lets everyone collect.  Are those Billions of dollars going to lazy people going to hurt us worse than if we gave them to Oil companies and companies that outsource everything?  No matter how you look at it, you're gonna give your money to somebody.  I'm not saying that it is right for a person to collect when they have opportunity to work, but I would rather give my money to the poor than the rich.

Lastly, because I am limited on time.  What politician isn't bought?  OHH, that's right, the loser.  Every politician wins by receiving votes.  To get said votes, someone has to get something in return.  It is a simple equation.  Unless we are talking about a high school class presidential election, you can't win on popularity, looks and how dope your clothes are.

I'm just happy to get rid of BUSH.  8 years of idiocy.  Thank goodness he's gone.  Obama has a lot of fixing to do.  I voted for him despite my father getting in my face about not voting for the veteran - I liked and respected McCain but did not like the picture of what would continue if he was in office (same old same old BUSH) and hated Palin.

Ugly, that goes way beyond bad taste even for you.

Barack Hussein Obama recently finished a $500,000 total overhaul of his 757. And as part of the new

design, he decided to remove the American flag from the tail...he replaced the flag with a symbol of himself

No lapel pin or hand over the heart for this candidate!

Don Corleone is right on in every aspect of his post.

Sueincc, "McCain displayed a lot of class in his speech.  I was hoping his supporters would follow his lead, and for just one day at least, be gracious in defeat.  Is that too much to expect?"  To expect some of those who post here to be "gracious in defeat", and what is more, to see them do just as DC suggests and get off their lazy behinds and try to make things better----- well, you and I both know the answer. And yes, McCain displayed the character he has always possessed and was and will always be an American hero. Had he not chosen Palin (and thankfully she did not speak last night), had he not represented a continuance of the "old guard", and had he been younger, and the world and country in a different space,  perhaps the result would have been different.

Ugly, your posting such a despicable photo demonstrates EXACTLY why there need to be more stringent gun laws in this country. I am not impressed with your neo-nazi writing, your behavior, and least of all, your idiotic fascination with guns. Maybe the photo should be forwarded to the appropriate authorities? And if you think for one moment you could have the weapons you say you have in most countries in Europe, for example, you are nuts.

President-elect Obama has a lot of work to do. I am confident he and the Congress will govern from the center. They will reflect what is right in America and together, we and they can now begin to change all that IS wrong here. And there is plenty that needs repair. Expectations are high, but things can be much better if ALL Americans pull in the same general direction.
