MaggieMae..........I pasted and posted your comment again because IMO it was worth hearing again....this is so true and very unfortunate......
      Quote.....fyi I added the bold..
"....People on this Board can be very vicious. Breeders get bashed; owners get bashed; trainers get bashed; dogs get bashed; GSD's as pets get bashed; people are falsely accused of not properly caring for their dog(s). As we recently read on the Board, the dog that won VA1 was "raked over the coals" as was the owner/Kennel. There is jealousy, envy, dislike of certain Kennels, show line dogs put down as if they are not really GSD's and on and on. I reflect.....
"
Yep, that about covers it ALL and sums it up......too bad....     HOWEVER, if you really look hard you will finds little bits of GOLD among the rocks......thats what keeps me panning.....

Mudwick,
All in all I think you handle this disclosure very well.   Considering some one was about to
do a hatchet job on you. You seem intelligent, and I find that refreshing. It would have been much easier to
deal with it up front the way you did rather than running and hiding. Moon has some good points, but you
very well may not have the luxury of being mute and private, the way  it should be  on the Internet about our private lives.
If  President Obama likes to dress up in his wife's nighty,.. half the country will want to know about it. And half the
country would prefer he keeps that to himself. I hope this satisfies Diane and we can go back to talking dogs and such.
I like the name Mudwick by the way, is that from a book?

NoCurs

There is simply no better entertainment anywhere on the web than you guys! : )

I have NEVER asked for "address and phone number"... that is just a hysterical exaggeration of the simple fact that I have NO respect for those who hide behind computer screens.  Why? Because I've learned that those with the time and inclination NEVER have the conviction to stand behind their name.  And this thread, if it does nothing else, shows that so, so well.  Moons, are you REALLY so dull that you cant figure out that I HAVE a "handle", and I was going to change my handle to my name so that maybesome of the more timid members would be able to see that it isn't really all that scarey!  Obviously some of you think that posting your name on a dog board is Soooooooo dangerous!  LOL!

If you can't have the conviction of your own name, fine, hide away from the "big, mean, vicious dog people"  (rolls eyes).  But I can tell you from experience that living with bulldogs you get a constant dose of what "conviction" means, and I'm a darn good example of how you can handle the "wrath" of dog fighters, fad breeders, puppy millers, abusive trainers, animal rights whackos, no-kill nuts, etc, etc, for years without having it have one ounce of negative effect on your life.  Quite the opposite in fact!

As I've said before, I'm proud of three things:

Who I Am
What I've Done
Who dislikes me and what I work for

Mudwick, obviously a few no-namers on here are having an issue with your genetic gender issue, and you can chose to let the nameless, faceless, unimportant people tell you it is "too much information" for them, or you can  chose to give them the amount of importance they deserve (none) and realize they don't need to continue on this thread if it threatnes their manhood.  I figure you will make the right choice, being as you have the guts to post your nameand realize that a dog board is a dog board and not really that important!

OK guys, off to work/play with the dogs!

Hey NoCurs, How about a reply to the simple question I asked?

Mystere

Let's be honest here.    The high horse is not tall enough to keep some heels off the ground.

Diane, you came on this board as NoCurs  without  identifying yourself further.  You then switched to Boldogkennel, which some recognized/identified with you, and addressed you by name directly.     THEN  you identified yourself and also acknowledged that you were also signed on as NoCurs.

As Jenn pointed out, it is not a secret who is behind many, if not most, of the screen names here, because some of us have used the same one, literally, for years here and on other sites.  Not a big deal, not an issue of hiding, or anything else.  I CHOOSE to continue using my screen name, just as you apparently continue to use yours.   It is not anywhere near the humongous deal you are trying to create from it.

btw--NO ONE has stated having an "issue" with Aaron, his "genetic gender," status, "choice" (for want of a better word) or anything else.  But, there has been on-going issues with non-dog-related topics, particularly those that delve into the political realm, or have a tendency to veer into it.  Some would like to avoid that "veerage."

No Curs,
I understand the appearance of being less than forthright by not allowing others
to know who you really are. I accept that, but keep in mind that a day may come when your
notoriety may become a burden, and you either choose not to post or post under an anonymous
name. There are people from all walks of life who love dogs and like to discuss the topic. But some don't
have the luxury of being open and would not be treated fairly or equally. So they choose to keep there
identity private.  I only know those who post under their real names, which makes up about half the
post on this board. As yet I don't have the time or inclination to find out who they really are. There are people
who are celebrities and there livelihood is dependant on on there discretion. I am not talking about people
with unsavory past, that been in the news. Just people who make a living in the public's eye on a day to day
basis.

Wow, I actually agree with Maggiemae's 2nd to last post... I feel like I just saw a f*cking unicorn or something.

Maggie,
I made a comment about Gunter Digel,  I think he a set a destructive precedent,
whacking off 6 points because the dog was in the face of the helper during a bark and hold.
I am all for opening this up for discussion. He will be, as some of you know the C protection
Judge in Spain. And I believe he is  the Director as well, of the WUSV.  Let the armchair discussion
begin in all ernst. This happened last time he was C Judge.
