When a parent looks into the eyes of their new born baby, they know the meaning of life.
I consider it an earthly human natural family experience that nothing else in life can be compared too.
The after life is only for the individual and could not replace what your leaving behind.

Not fo' me, babeeee!

VomMarischal - no hard feelings :) Just my opinion!

My understanding "meaning of life" I consider their has to be something far more greater purpose than limiting your mind and focus on a dog.

When I was growing up my mind was limited because I was a child, I really wanted to play with toys, but ones you mature then you started seing much greater picture of what is life.

This Bible verse below talking about adult human being / having limited mind and then growing out of it. Not physically but mentaly.

1 Corinthians ch13, verse 11 (Apostle Paul talking about himelf here in this verse)
When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

Boring conversation. You can prattle memorized junk to whomever else will listen to it.

In that case their is really no point going further with you.

Good Luck!

Oh Joy!! we really have your permission to prattle memorized junk here! Or is your comment the first salvo fired during a time of truce? Oh I forgot you are probably one of those above the rules correct? Why did you even have to reply to the post? Oh I know you just could not restrain yourself! So now I will afford you an opportunity to let loose with all your guns since we have your permission to prattle!   I really find it offensive that you call others fools and do it so eloquently! Does that make you smarter or more hurtfull?

Raymond, do you really imagine for one instant that I would entertain a serious conversation about philosophy on a dog board with a bunch of strangers?  It has no place on this board in the first place. This is a dog board. That is why I posted a photo of a fucking dog. Grow up.
