Rescue Heidi has come along way! For all who thinks this is fraud! - Page 6

Please, I would just ask that we let this go for today, give her time to do the right thing, I think it's the right thing to do.  I  just took another look at the pictures of Heidi, the "afters" really bring a smile to my face.  Just please, can we give this a rest for now?

Here is the record.

OK, Now you can see on the record that there was the following....the bill was $241 and I collected $200 for her care alot was done for $241....I expected the bill to be alot more in reality:

Office exam
fecal
skin scrape
dewormer (2 doses given 2 weeks apart)
Heartworm test
Thyroid prescription(30 day supply) because Heidi had blackened skin the vet felt like that was an indication of low thyroid and wanted to do further testing.  I said lets just give her the thyroid meds for 30 days and she is either going to get better or she is going to stay the same.  If she gets better then we do no further testing....if she stays the same then we do more thyroid tests in 30 days.  She got better and we were able to discontinue the thyroid medications all together as the vet believed that the thyroid might correct it's self once the other issues were corrected and that is what happened.

T4 (thyroid)

Heidi had sarcoptic mange and the vet wanted to treat it with ivermectin injections once a week for 6 weeks.  I supplied the ivermectin as I already had it for use with my own dogs for heartworm prevention so I did not have to buy that and the vet gave me syringes also.

Mobjack -- I understand what you are saying about "clearing one's name."   Vicki has a Lawyer to do just that.   Any good lawyer will tell their Client to "keep quiet."   You know -- we ALL know -- that the person who is making these charges is reading this Board.   I know only the little bit that I have read here.  Furthermore, I really don't want to know about it....I have absolutely "No Need to Know" this information.  

Anyway, trying to explain anything on this Board is like talking to the "Jury from Hell."

In reality Vicki, you don't have to prove anything to anyone, other than the judge..Although everyone wants you to clear your name, myself included, if I were you, I wouldn't  post or comment again about anything pertaining to that situation on this forum or any other forum...Let your attorney handle it...If you happen to post the same thing twice using different words, it could be turned into a totally different meaning and than you could become your worse enemy....Remember what sue told you earlier....JMO...

Just received a picture mail, don't know the number so I am guessing it is from someone at the vet office since I NEEDED it quick?????

Vickie has been a member here for a long time. She's very aware of how people are "put on trial" here.
I've defended Vickie before when she was slammed on here wrongly. Vickie herself brought this here. No one else. From what I understand, her legal issues have to do with the dog Alma and the tattoo-a-pet lady, not this dog Heidi. Vickie received donations toward the vet bills for Heidi from members on this board. Therefore, IMO she should be accountable to this board for how the money was spent. Especially since Vickie has no non-profit status as a rescue. She's a private individual.

I do not want to believe Vickie has done anything wrong but add it up and it looks bad. Too many questions unanswered for months regarding Heidi, Alma, Athos and Vinetta. Heidi is the only question on this thread though. The situation with Alma may be settled by a lawyer. As for Veronica and Altos/Vinetta, I hope they can settle that between them easily enough with records being sent from OSU. That only takes a phone call. It shouldn't take 8 months to make a phone call.

Not that hard to just tighten up and get it done.
