You now have the "sport enthuasists" forum all to yourself, that could be renamed the "Chaz enthuasists" forum.  It is interesting to see the types of dogs owned by the prolific posters on the PDB alternative topics.  The religious threads = SL owners, the political threads = SL owners, the anti gov't threads = Malinois and SL owners.  I think the seperation is perfect, my sources tell me the working line people were not the issue.  I just want to go on the record stating I do not blame the SL or Malinois dogs for their owners. 

I will have Oli remove the extra forums except OT and conformation. I really can't understand the opposition by the working folks to letting show folks have their own forum. I have offered to name the working forum whatever the working people want but you guys do not want it, I am good with that and will email Oli later to remove it.

Nope, the next thing will be we are discriminating against working folks.

Just let everybody stew for a few, GSD. The meat will settle and the scum gets skimmed off the top.

This is like any business. If we do not listen to a big percentage of the people who visit this site then we are not responding to our customers. While Oli doesn't need this money to live, it helps to keep the site running. I know he just told me he is planning on spending thousands of dollars to upgrade his memory and storage-because the pictures and PMs and pedigrees take up  a lot of space and he needs to grow.

I cannot see why a group of working people care whether or not show folks have their own forum. Why does it matter? If they feel better in their own forum why not provide them the best place to learn and share?

I said from day one working people would be the biggest opposition, even though it does not really affect them and if it does can someone please explain how they are affected.

What I find pretty funny about this whole thing is, I haven't seen anybody really getting crazy, but just offering opinions on why they don't think it's a good idea to split the board.  But, it looks to me like the ones who are really opposed have voiced their opinion by no longer frequenting, which is their choice also.  They've been told that if they don't like it, they don't have to read or post... and they're not.  So, why do you care if they're in the minority?  If you've got the majority and they're SL, you've now got another SL forum... be happy with it!
