Gonna be honest...you couldn't pay me to feed those last 3 x.x  The puppy has a cute face, and that's where it ends for me

 I agree with Xeph,

He got a good head and nice colors.  That's about it.  Bad feet(est-west) no croup, bad angles..

I'm not gonna talk about the last 3..only one word comes to mind..crippled!!

well the last posted pic of grisu he looks decent, I would not be ashame of owning that dog, even though I don't aprove where showline GSD are going. I like the way he looks on that last pic. Plus for me is more important how the dog actually works. If he can work than he got my seal of approval as little as its worth. I don't think that is the dogs to blame but the breeders. I judge every dog on individual basis and I would hate to pass a judgment based on one picture.

Escobar, I guess you, too, have an Ugly Dog file!

Here's a few prize specimens from mine:

The middle one was advertised as "future  Sieger"!

Shelley's dog T (Carol) is even more handsome in person and he's a lover boy <3 I have a half sister of his - she's not quite as well put together as he is, but she's beautiful too.

I am a working line person through and through.  Seeing some showline dogs who can barely able to make it over the jump to retrieve the dumbbell makes me really sad.  At least when working line dogs are fugly they can still work!

I would call those dogs crippled because of their toplines, not their angles.  That puppy would grow into her angles no doubt, but her topline won't be proper.  And is that "Future Sieger" a male?  It looks like a bitch x.x  Nice colors, but no bone, definitely no head

I feel just as sorry for that first puppy Silver just posted as I do for Overangulated American puppies.  I can appreciate a good dog in any line, I truly can, but there is NO reason for Quasimodo dogs, or dogs so angulated in the rear their hocks cross over and wobble when they walk.

I'm showing a very nice American dog right now, and while he is well angulated, he is not overangulated.  He does not walk or gait on his hocks, and he's got a lovely temperament.  Could he work?  I think he could, but I don't know.  He's 7, so he's not about to be tested.  He is in prime health, but #1 he is not my dog to work (beyond conformation and obedience), and #2, I think he's a little old to start.

Conformationally speaking I ADORE the Salztalblick dogs.  I think Paska could have done well in an American ring, much to the chagrin of many.  I hear he was also a spectacular worker, and I absolutely ADORE Ellex and Branko.
