SO what yoru saying David is this footage is all fine and we just don't know good when we see it?
by Sunsilver on 27 January 2009 - 16:01
Holy crap, David, how do you EVER manage to carry around that monster ego of yours?
As a respected judge, you should be trying to educate us 'dimwits' instead of pissing on us from a great height!!
by Kaffirdog on 27 January 2009 - 16:01
So you are not prepared to critique and grade this dog then David? Should be easy enough task for a judge, especially one at Ch Show level and would help all us
"PET owners, pretend Working dog owners, inexperienced GSD novices, Biased Alsatian owners, and straightforward Sh*t stirers".
to see what is wrong with Tigermouse's dog and what is right about the dogs in the video as per the Standard.

I place a considerable amount of information on my website for those genuinely interested.

Now, anyone who wants to stick up for the dogs in that video...tell you what, find me a video of a German VA dog or a top 10 youth or young dog (in the BSZS) who moves in the rear like that last dog did, and I will personally declare you the winner of this argument and not submit another word.

LOL This gets funnier by the minute. I almost spit coffee all over my monitor. It's been said on a couple other threads that David wouldn't know a good dog, if it bit him on the ass. I tend to believe that. I doubt it takes a vet degree or masters in canine anatomy, to see the dogs in the video are anything BUT correct. If the judges keep putting these disgraceful mongrels on the podium, it will continue being a problem. Is it any wonder working people do not want to be a part of this circus? Does a dog actually HAVE to be crippled to win or is that just a bonus?
HD clear or not, these dogs are physically challenged and will not hold up to 10 yrs of work of any kind. They have made it impossible to have both a working dog and one that can win in the show ring. There are a a few good judges that will place a working dog fairly, very few. Videx, perhaps you would be better suited to the Laso Apso breed, or does that not stroke your ego as much?

I would be very interested to hear your opinions on my dog. and a comparison with the dogs on the video.
My biggest problem is a lot of TOP show lines are IMO deformed to the point they cant walk so why the hell does the KC promote these dogs and awarding them cc's when they clearly cant even walk properly .
We forget that the naive puppy buyer looks at KC awards as a good thing.
If we as breeders don't have a reality check and realise we haven't got it right then our beautiful breed is as good as dead.(or crippled)
The dogs in the video are not "FIT FOR FUNCTION" they can hardly walk .....or was it the slippy surface??
I'm not sure who the dogs in the video belong too but I would like to see a video one of the featured dogs
gating on a better surface, and perhaps a jump or A frame. I think it would be very beneficial to this discussion.
David I really do want too learn.
Regards,
TM.

Don't give yourself a hard time over this Tracie... your bitch may not win classes but there's not much wrong with her... your knowing how to stand her, would help LOL!
There are unsound dogs in the ring... even grass rings... that is a fact! Should they win? IMO... no.

LMAO I couldnt give a rats ass about ribbons if it means my dogs have to walk like that too get one
