On a side note : It does shed a different light on the always mentioned part, that Germans / Europeans will only send the crap dogs to the USA and their only intension to ripp the Americans off. I'm beeing sarcastic here.....
Can anyone provide me with an E-Mail adress of someone who would be in charge of this matter within the AKC, so that I can send them a letter to display my disgust ??

This thread is absurd. You have the accusations of the OP. You have the ridiculous fiction easements of maywood, and you have the the statements of people actually involved in this situation.

Or is it maywood, who has absolutely no firsthand knowledge of the situation. He saw Ilay with the OP and thought they were happy. And he goes off on a spin more suited for a fiction novel than an actual situation.

There is no specific person email address for the AKC to send a letter unless there has been a complaint filed. Yvonne would be able to provide you the name and email address of the person in case management who is handling the complaint.

By doing a search on the AKC website, there was a registration transfer for Ilay that was received by the AKC on 12 August 2010 and completed on 17 August 2010. I do not know any further details as that information is not available to someone other than the owner of the dog.

She already contacted us all through this forum and made the situation very clear and enlightening to everyone already. Also, since my speculations are so ridiculous, please enlighten us since you seem to be so much more aware of the situation than everyone else. Please explain to us how it is Ms. Gattone managed to obtain a world class shepherd without even paying for him or even exchanging anything of any value for him. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out what is actually going on here. So please, do explain yourself. I think everyone would be curious to know how this makes perfect sense to you. Otherwise, just save your name calling for the mirror where it will be more suitably directed to the appropriate audience.
Yvonne, please come on here and give us an update of what is going on. Has Ilay Nordkristall been returned to you? What is the problem still? first I would like to thank you for sharing your opinion with us. Hard for me to understand why you resort to faulty language, no one else did. I am not saying that I am the wise guy, but my experience has told me, that if someone resort to this kind of language, they usuelly lack of the right arguments.
I am astonished that you are mentioning, that the original owner & breeder of Ilay knows what is best for the dog. The original owner & breeder stated herself that she signed Ilay (and other dogs) over to her sister, I believe this fact cannot be disputed, right ? So at what point is it apropriate that a "Not Owner" should have the say so about someone elses dog ?
Furthermore we were presented the letter from the SV, a couple of days old, that Yvonne is registered with the SV as the last listed owner. To top it all off, we saw the signing over of Ilay by Mrs. Gattone, using a POA . Not even signed by Yvonne. Not to mention the lack of a "Bescheinigung" of the SV for the Ownerchange. Look at the dates aswell, the signing over took place AFTER Yvonne claimed her dog back !
So on one hand you say it is allright that a "Non Owner" (sister of Yvonne) can make decisions for the dog, but it is not ok for the rightfull owner to claim her dog back.
Even when I sell a pup here in Germany to US citizens, and they move back to the US and want to register their dog with AKC, they have to present a Bescheinigung. That is probably why Mrs. Gattone asked for a POA, it made things much easier for her. On the other hand Yvonne should not have been so "blue eyed" to sign a POA in this form, rather she should have included in that POA for what porpose this POA should have been valid for.
I mean, come on Rick, would you just give away a dog such as Ilay, for free ?!?! I dont think so, nobody in his right mind would do so.
In regards to your mentioned first hand knowledge, I am in contact with Yvonne, she has attempted to get Ilay back from Mary, but was told by her that she would not surrender the dog. Even a outsider talked to Mrs. Gattone, were she admitted that she never payed a dime for Ilay, and that she does not care one minute what Yvonne wants, or what her rights are.
If you have other knowledge, or some sort of proof who is the rightfull owner of Ilay, (of course this would have to be datet BEFORE the shi*t hit the fan), share it with us. Or if you like that more,pm me, and I promise it will be kept private. At this point it clearly looks like a scam, and a very badly orchestrated one at that.
