I THINK KOOS IS A GREAT BREEDER. THE VIDEO SHOWS ME FOOD DRIVE. I HAVE DOGS THAT EAT THAT WAY. THEY GROWL ALMOST THE WHOLE TIME. WHAT DOES IT SHOW YOU OGBS?? OH GOD BULL SHIT!!!

What that video shows is taught or encouraged food aggression. IMO nothing impressive about it.

Why? Because you can create handler aggressive dogs and have people thinking the dogs are as tough as nails. It's what legends are made from.
I'm not knocking the the man or his kennel, their track record speaks for it self. However, I see it as a marketing tool to make good dogs look bad ass.

You need to reread my post. I'll summarize it for you. I met Koos and he worked my dog. When I was putting my dog back in the car, a friend of Koos' said "what do you think of that dog?" Koos replied "I would have that dog in my kennel." It was a compliment. His friend asked if my dog was the best dog on our police dept. I replied that we have many very good dogs, mine is just one of them. It just so happens that my dog is bred on Czech lines and line bred 2, 4 on Cordon An Sat. If you think that Czech dogs lack courage, be my guest and come work him.
By the way, I asked him about the video and he really did not comment very much on it. I do not see that as food drive at all. It is merely guarding their food while being irritated. To me that video does not show food drive at all.
Sable59, it seems you still have a lot to learn about dogs, drive and training. Don't feel bad, we all have a lot to learn. You just need to expand your horizons a llittle bit.

The thing I don't understand here is that Sable59 thinks Koos is an excellent breeder, but, says Koos thinks Slovak and Czech (or in his words, Slovic and Check) dogs are crap, and then, Sable 59 breeds Slovak and Czech dogs??? It seems to be contradictory.

Everyone has different methods and things they do with their dogs. If you don't like it, don't do it. Simple as that. train your dogs the way you want.
