And screw you Jen, mind your own damned business. Mods, you need to ban this person, AGAIN. AKC is not some "mark of quality". If I sell a pup for $1500 with unlimited AKC registration, then that's what they'll get. But, I'M GUARANTEEING IT'S QUALITY, not the American Kennel Club. I haven't a single dissatisfied customer in all my german sheperd breeding, but there's a lot of disgruntled lookie loos, who know jack (or Jen).

Since you started this thread and put the bulls eye on your back; can you post the AKC registration for NYX? I know you have stated that your dogs are "registerable." I would think that NYX is also AKC registered.

1:32PM #919-233-9767 and spoke
to a customer service rep. The call
lasted 17 minutes including hold time.
She asked about having the individual
AKC registration confirmed on two dogs,
Nyx and Hutch.
The spelling of their names was taken from
your website. She was told by the AKC rep
that NEITHER dog was their registry.
Perhaps you may want to check with AKC or your
website to ensure there are no spelling errors to
prevent this from happening if someone else calls
to verify.

The topic is about "kennel blindness" which is breeding untitled, un registered dogs, with out health tests because the owner (not breeder) thinks they are worthy of breeding for some reason. That my friend is kennel blindness, IMO. Just because you bought a dog from a well known kennel who has spent decades breeding does not make you a breeder or your dog worthy of being bred. Because your dogs may have a couple of famous dogs in their pedigree, does not make them breed worthy. Not having an AKC registration on a litter of puppies, when the owner (not Breeder) of the dogs lives in the US is very sad. Brother/sister, father/daughter matings of untitled, untested, no health tests, dogs with fair conformaton at best may be a sign of kennel blindness. Stating, "I breed for myself" and then advertising puppies from unregistered parents, with out hip x rays, or any other health tests for sale.....that may not be breeding for your self?????????????????? When your female has had close to 20 puppies in the past year or so; are you really breeding for yourself? Or just trying to raise a little extra cash. I would say this would be the extreme example of kennel blindness.
When a person states that the AKC is not a stamp of quality (which I agree), SchH is not a breed worthiness test, doesn't work his dogs at all in anything, might be kennel blind to think his dogs are breed worthy. I could go to the shelter and find similar dogs, if I just wanted a dog for myself as a nice pet.

Kennel blindness: Thinking that you and your dogs are so superior to everyone else that you do not need to conform to the standard, do health screenings, show your dogs, title or work your dogs to prove their greatness, or at the bare minimum even AKC register your dogs. If one of these great pups went to a working home it would be considered a mix breed, not eligible to be shown, and scorebooks would list it as a mix. That might be a sign of kennel blindness and many other things. Breeding with out even being able to prove your dogs are pure bred, might be a clue.
