Dog friendly paper cup?
or... maybe I'll just hang on to it awhile longer.
Somehow what I dine on mostof the time lately just doesn't call for Beaujolais.
Water, coffee, seltzer, yes. Wine? Not so much.

Well, don't let it go to waste now! You know that particular wine doesn't get better with age, (dammit!) Not that it would last around my house long enough to age. I have a corkscrew by the way! And we have some fine beef in Kansas. Sending good wishes your way. And if you haven't done it yet, don't forget to go by Walmart!

Shelley;
You are in my thoughts and prayers as you make this journey in life. You are strong and you will get there. I will send material (financial) help in the next couple days. You are cared about by many. I understand what you are experiencing having been there myself. I have attatched a couple of poems that helped me get through the hardest and darkest times of my life. I hope they will bring you the same hope, peace, comfort, and courage that they have brought me over the years. I still look to these poems from time to time when life gets difficult and they still lift me up. Everyone is in your corner and wiling to do what they can to help you get to where you are going in any possible way that they can. Lean on us and refill your strength from us. We are here for you and we give it freely to you. I hope these poems give you the same strength, hope and inspiration that they have given me over the years. I do not know the authors of the poems but I do know that they are well known poems....
Don't Quit
When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all up hill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest if you must, but don't you quit.
Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As everyone of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about
When he might have won had he stuck it out;
Don't give up, though the pace seems slow -
You might succeed with another blow.
Often the goal is nearer than
It seems to a faint and faltering man,
Often the struggler has given up
When he might have captured the victor's cup.
And he learned too late, when the night slipped down,
How close he was to the golden crown.
Success is failure turned inside out -
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt -
And you never can tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems afar;
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit -
It's when things seem worst that you mustn't quit.

Footprints
One night a man had a dream. He dreamed He was walking along the beach with the LORD. Across the sky flashed scenes from His life. For each scene He noticed two sets of footprints in the sand. One belonging to Him and the other to the LORD.
When the last scene of His life flashed before Him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path of His life there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times of His life.
This really bothered Him and He questioned the LORD about it. LORD you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why when I needed you most you would leave me.
The LORD replied, my precious, precious child, I Love you and I would never leave you! During your times of trial and suffering when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you.
Best of luck to you and your kids
