Mj, you are the only one stirring the kettle, I am sorry that I can not make you happy.
Maybe, you can call the vet again and ask all those questions above.....heck, Juliesue calls them at least 3 times a day, every day. But keep in mind that vet records are private and it is doubtful they would release any specifics to you anyway.

Maggie sorry to disappoint you, but Nona and I are just fine. Try to understand this simple concept: Mobjack is as entitled to her opinion as you are, and she is as entitled as you are to express her opinion, whether you like it or not. That doesn't make her "mean", and doesn't give you the right to start attacking her and calling her names just because you happen to disagree with her.

***If you think of it I have NOTHING at all to gain from making public that Athos is sick with a couple of genetic health issues. That being said renders him un-useable for a stud dog ....... no benefit for me in that venture.....I lost a lot of money on his purchase price $4K plus $4,906.95 in vet care and that is not inclusive of his prescription diet either. And the possibility that I would be unethical and breed him is ZERO! Vickie***

This would be a nice start, if the condition is genuine, and hey, you don't have to fax this proof, scan it, or pull it out of your purse:
Permission of owner of record (Vickie Knighton Lanig) for me to speak to records department of OSU center for Veterinary Health Sciences concerning Athos' confidential health records. The actual phone number would be nice too, as I'm calling from Alaska, but I guess I could keep calling the likely numbers from the Internet staff listing until I got help from them.
Permission of owner of record (Vickie Knighton Lanig) for me to speak to the veterinarian who diagnosed the condition concerning confidential treatment and records. I could possibly get that forwarding number of the diagnosing vet if I had permission to speak about Athos' medical records with OSU.
You know I can't talk to them until you give me permission. It's like medical records--I can't call your doctor and confirm your health issues without your permission.
I have a joke for you, and it's pertinent to what Vickie says:
In Mississippi, a guy sees a sign in front of a house:
"Talking Dog for Sale."
He rings the bell and the owner tells him the dog is in the backyard. The guy goes into the backyard and sees a black mutt just sitting there.
"You talk?" he asks.
"Yep," the mutt replies.
"So, what's your story?"
The mutt looks up and says, "Well, I discovered my gift of talking pretty young and I wanted to help the government, so I told the CIA about my gift, and in no time they had me jetting from country to country, sitting in rooms with spies and world leaders, because no one figured a dog would be eavesdropping. I was one of their most valuable spies eight years running. The jetting around really tired me out, and I knew I wasn't getting any younger and I wanted to settle down. So I signed up for a job at the airport to do some undercover security work, mostly wandering near suspicious characters and listening in. I uncovered some incredible dealings there and was awarded a batch of medals. Had a wife, a mess of puppies, and now I'm just retired."
The guy is amazed. He goes back in and asks the owner what he wants for the dog.
The owner says, "Ten dollars."
The guy says, "This dog is amazing. Why on earth are you selling him, so cheap?"
The owner replies, "He's just a big liar. He didn't do any of that stuff."

I did not call any Names -- I know your MO well and how you like to twist / spin another person's words. Of course Mobjack is entitled to her opinion. She wanted proof -- she got proof -- she still was not satisfied. Well...... too bad. I don't care if Vicki pulled the proof out of her A$$ -- she produced what Mobjack kept demanding. End of story / end of our conversation. Have a good one........

Veronica, Everything will be taken care of with you too. I am waiting on the certified letter you said you were going to send telling me what veterinarian to take Athos to at your choosing, like you said you were gonna do! I am waiting just like you are waiting too.
