Hello my friend, I am very sorry that it took so long, but I found the breeder and the name of the dog you were referring to. Obviously it is a dog bred in Spain, as I had mentioned before, because I identified the IX.... tatoo for a tatoo made in Galicia, Spain. Well, herewith I will send you the reply of the Spanish GSD Club (translated into English, as it is in Spanish): "Finally I can give you some data about "Eros de Montealoya", tatoo no. IXD 831. It seems this dog was sento to the U.S.A. to a Mr. Senlis Chouza (both last names, marion), but this one sold him to Dr. David and Robin Guerreiro residents at: 540 South Longuew Place (I suppose it might be Longview or something similar and was copied incorrectly by people that do not know English) LONGWOOD, FL.32779 Unfortunately they could not give us a telephone number and they informed us that the Senlis Chouza is in Miami, hiding from the U.S. Justice. I hope, Marion, that with whom "Eros" is now is a good person. Thank you for trying to solve the problem and again I ask you to forgive me for not having been able to attend your solicitude immediately. Un abrazo, Susan" That is the translation of the e-mail I received, so the dog has been identified. His name is "Eros de Montealoya" and I suppose you live in the U.S. and would like to know how you got that dog, in order to be able to help you to get his pedigree from Spain. Did you buy it? Did you find it? Please let me know and I will be very glad to help you!!! Have you ever heard or do you know the people mentioned in above e-mail? Perhaps you are in Florida? I will await your answer and be very glad to comply! Best regards,

Why would Senlis Chouza be hiding from the US Justice? He openly advertises dogs on his website and on this board.

thank you thank you thank you! i do indeed remember some mention of a doctor & his wife who divorced & sold/got rid of my lovely "rommel"- he went to live in a rescue, but the lady who ran this place needed a little help with all the unwanted animals. my gsd was given to me, as i had to rid him of heartworms, sarcoptic mange (scabies), & infection. i only just owned him 1.5 years now, but i am glad to say that now he is a certified therapy dog & we do obedience & schutzhund together too... once he was well, he was a bit more difficult to manage, i'm not sure what kind of life he lead before he met me & became a house dog, but he has adapted well enough! conformation wise he is cow-hocked, but again, nutrition could have played a big part in this; his ribs could be a bit more well-sprung as well- bit narrow in the chest; this doesn't stop him from running down the sleeve though! hips are good, but i'm not sure how old he is- a hint of gray on chin, could just be coloring. the people we visit in nursing homes and care centers don't care though, he is a great dog to them & i love him dearly. thank you very much again for helping me- i will post again when i have found out more, i.e. sire/dam, birthdate, history, etc... THANK YOU!
