Two days left though.  Anything can happen, just as we took over with a push for Ben.  Someone else can start up another push for Copper.

Well after today 1 day to go.

Well Shannon let's see the picture when you get the news-paper article or even the way you got to it in the first place we would love to see it because you made us part of this so we would love to follow his BEN'S progress with that little Girl what was her name??  It was fun to see all of us united in this one no arguments or stupid comments yeh  good work girls and guys.

THE VOTING SCANDAL!!! posted in the newspaper!!!!!!!

Did you hear about this vote making the NEWS in Minnesota on WCCO 4 news and in the dialy paper!?

Oh yeah...  it started because BEN took over with the MAJOR vote increase over the weekend!!!

(AS WE ALLLLLLLLLLLL Know!!!!!)

I started reading and thought OH BOY and started laughing... (as I continued to VOTE For BEN mind you!)

It wasn't just us... but the deputy wanted BEN too! As you'll read HE POSTED his preference online!

Benton county is a small county, not much to do and not much goes on... so I reckon this will be the biggest news thread they will recieved for the entire year!

FOLEY — A voting scandal is brewing in Benton County.

The county decided to let the public decide via Internet voting the name of Benton County's next police dog. Six finalists — Copper, Chase, Cody, Ben, Max and Sarge — were submitted by local school children.

But some residents are calling foul after a deputy posted his name preference on an Internet message board and that name skyrocketed up the polls during the weekend.

The sheriff's office will get the dog sometime in the next couple weeks. This month the sheriff's office hosted an online poll to name the dog and Benton County students submitted potential names. The student with the winning name wins prizes.

Voting closes Thursday on Benton County's Web site.

The controversy started after a resident found a message board frequented by police officers. On it, Deputy Brad Kadlec, who will be the dog's handler, asked others to vote for his preferred named and encouraged

That's too funny.
