As far as I’m aware (and I gladly stand corrected), initiating legal action for practical purposes requires that work in question has some sort of commercial value. |

The commercial value is $15,000 Euros, thats what they are trying to sell the site for.

ps. Im not going to in anyway make the data inaccessible, I won't watermark it, I won't lock the data in any way, I dont have to nor want to.
I want the data to be copy able by breeders, sportfans, and such. Same for individual information.
Its the act of harvesting all my data (including pictures) solely for financial gains that I oppose. (and I'm safe there, I know the legal limits and rights)

I had never looked at this site, but even my "Zinah" is there with a photo that I took of her at a local park. Sheesh Thisn person reminds me a VonKinghaus German Shepherds, and Stormhasit Dogos, using photos they do not own. I too am going through the same thing with them. My attorney is sending a cease and desist letter to them now. The laws that pertain to this are rather simple, but the process is semi complex. I wish you luck Oli!

Hi all,
Thanks for the support folks, been without internet this weekend (ISP/router problems).
Just so its clear, my goal here is not to seek damages or any kind of extensive litigation. I want the pictures removed and bulk retrieved data from this site removed.
Just so its sure its the programming and website interface that they are selling, NOT data "stolen" from other people websites.

Everyone whom has a pic of this other persons site should send his server IP company a request to remove certain pics. Since they are in the USA Im pretty sure they would stay within the compliance of law?
