Uber Land,

It was I who posted about the Clausberg pups...I was the one who bought the pup before they came into the states.  Judy kept the pups for 3 weeks to "temperament test."  She told me she couldn't decide which would be more suitable for work.  Guess she could never figure that out because I never got the puppy.  I finally told her to send my money back. 

I also heard later on the pups died...from multiple snake bites.  Shocking...but what do you expect when your dogs are being housed an hour away from where you live?  With no one to watch them, I guess these things can happen.

I'm sorry if I jumped the gun.  I guess I still blame myself for what happened to those pups.  I have been told they weren't my responsibility,   but it doesn't make me feel any better about what happened.

Judy just goes around looking for breeders who have little money to afford imported dogs,  so she gives them a to good to be true deal on "if you just house this dog, we can split litters type of thing"  unfortunately, the dogs received generally have quite a few problems,  or she never follows through with the original plan.  Lots of empty promises. 

I housed 6-8 dogs for Judy, all on either co-own and split the litters,  or I was supposed to get full ownership after 1 litter.  everyone of the dogs had issue's.  whether it be bad seperation anxiety, nuerotic behavior from being crated all the time (spinning), or just plain dumb.  bitches came here with broken teeth, infected feet, 1 bitch with the infect foot ended up being bred also, she lost all her pups and about lost her mind over it. 1 bitch was so dog agressive I couldn't keep her so I helped Judy sell her,  I was told the bitch had OFA prelimbs good.  well She was sold to a breeder in arizona for 1500,  after she had the dogs OFA's done,  the dogs was graded to have severe HD.  So of course,  that deal fell back onto me, not Judy. Plus Judy got the 1500, not me. I took the dogs to the vets, and the airport for shipping.  Several bitches ATE through my cyclone kennels and about ruined every piece of fence I had.  I was never reimbursed vet bills on the bitch with the infected foot.  Judy never helped me out with food costs (she was sole owner of these dogs).  It was just a bad situation all around so I told her she had to take her dogs, even though she was waay over the limit that she was allowed where she lived (but she continued to import pups and stuff and hide them in her house).  I felt bad for the dogs,  but I really couldn't do much about it.  she was a cop,  she was sole owner of these dogs and of course at the time,  everyone was viewing her as a saint.

I would not recommend this person to anyone as a breeder to get a pup or dog from.  I would also not recommend anyone selling her a dog.

If this story is true and I believe it is, why can't this woman be shut down ??

Is there no enforcement for registered breeders in the states regarding ligitimacy or behaviour or lack thereof ??

If the archives here went back a long time, as they used to, one would see, unfortunately, that this person/kennel has a history of not following through on deals, scamming etc. Yet she continues in business because sites like this do, in fact, allow them to continue to post and advertise and sucker in the novice and people who don't know better. Sad state of affairs, but I would bet this pup will not be delivered either and no money will be returned. Just one more rip off artist posing for a legitimate ambassador and steward of the breed (NOT).........

If that is the case then perhaps someone should keep this topic current as a warning for the innocent.
