812.135  Home-invasion robbery.--

(1)  "Home-invasion robbery" means any robbery that occurs when the offender enters a dwelling with the intent to commit a robbery, and does commit a robbery of the occupants therein.

(2)(a)  If in the course of committing the home-invasion robbery the person carries a firearm or other deadly weapon, the person commits a felony of the first degree, punishable by imprisonment for a term of years not exceeding life imprisonment as provided in s. 775.082, s. 775.083, or s. 775.084.

(b)  If in the course of committing the home-invasion robbery the person carries a weapon, the person commits a felony of the first degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082, s. 775.083, or s. 775.084.

(c)  If in the course of committing the home-invasion robbery the person carries no firearm, deadly weapon, or other weapon, the person commits a felony of the first degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082, s. 775.083, or s. 775.084.

Another point to consider....Mom has a heart attack and dies in the course of this crime, whatever name you want to callit)...Now, it's called felony murder and there are convicted felons on death row in Fla. for this type of  crime...

Hi Joseph!  How goes the search?  Have you had a chance to look at the dog we were discussing?

Trailrider This is my last post to you on ANY thread.  I first joined UScA in 1981 0r 82.  I am currently training my 3rd dog in the sport.  Previously I had GSDs but not for the sport.   I have one dog at a time, not a kennel. I train them myself, I get them as puppies, & keep them until they are old & die.   While I have not trained a lot of dogs I have been very lucky to know some excellent trainers/handlers/breeders/importers along the way, who have always been very generous with their knowledge.  I have always had working line GSDs.  I'm pretty confident in my abilities to read dogs & people, enough to know you are a real ass and a waste of breathe. (i ALWAYS speak my mind)  The reason this is my last post to you & your ilk is I am receiving a lot of pms & emails from a number of people I respect who tell me they know you to be an utter moron & to stop wasting my time with you.  I guess your reputation proceeds you.

Preston, I'm reaching here but can't imagine why you belittled this man who obviously is who he says. I don't understand why you won't just apologize because you were obviously wrong about him.  What's the big deal with saying you made a mistake?

I'm not taking sides but Joseph has people who know him and know he's not someone trying to lead a covert action to take away your dogs.  I don't get the point of attacking him. He's not a BYB or an irresponsible buyer. What gives?

EAST NAPLES, Fla. - The Collier County Sheriff's Office is investigating a report of an attempted rape of an elderly woman.

Deputies say the 76-year-old woman out-smarted the attacker with her quick-thinking.

The woman says she had just gotten out of the shower, when a man pulled a blouse over her head and tried to raping the woman.

The woman, who we are not naming, lives on the 700 block of Charlemagne Boulevard in east Naples.

The sheriff’s office says the woman was getting out of the shower, when the attacker entered from an open window, forced the 76-year-old to the floor, bound her hands, covered her eyes and tried raping her. She told the man, she had just activated her life alert bracelet and police were on the way!

The sheriff’s office doesn't have a good description of the man because the victim’s eyes were covered most of the time. The victim tells us she thinks he had dark skin and stands about 5 feet 11 inches tall.

Interestingly enough in my city anytime the police are called and come a police report must be filed, no exceptions.  I have always thought this was required in all police depts.  Maybe not.
