I am like preston and think yellow rose is a class lady and will defend her if i want too.

There is no spin here. I pm'd lurkin under the topic of peace and said"seriously you sound upset, if you like i can lend an ear.I'll be here off and on between taking children and dogs to various places." After her attack i chose not to deal.

As for Yellowrose being a classy gal, I am sure she is....Everyone here says so and that is all I have to go by.

Again if a newcomer can't come to the board and learn by their mistakes, then what.

I don't know her.with regards to my first post to just lurkin I MISTOOK her for someone who offered

helpful information in the past. I did not ask her to post in my favor.REREAD LURKIN.delusions of grandeur!

I hope this clears up any and all ???s. I'm tough, you might say show lines that can work but honestly

not sure if all this pettiness is worth it. Before you go off on that I know I can take all this to another board.

Even though this is an international board... I don't know which country governs it..... ALL personal expression should  be allowed within the confines of not being profane or threatening. In the USA we DO have the right to express our politcal AND religious beliefs.  Even though there are those who are trying to take away those freedoms that we've fought so hard for... THEY ARE STILL IN PLACE!  You have the same freedoms! Express them in YOUR avitar and then relax and let someone else who might have a different opinion express their's. What is so hard about that?????? Get over it!

There's a couple of others.  I just don't remember what the addy's are.  If you do a search I'm sure you'll find them.

Lots of different topics to choose from.  Most are about various aspects of the GSD.

I think all three have a "chat" type room where people can post things not related to the GSD.  You can avoid that section of the board if you don't want to discuss anything but the GSD.

As for Y.R. -- don't know her personally.  Never had the pleasure of meeting her.  I've read her posts and found them to be helpful and informative for the most part.  I've seen others that expressed an almost frantic concern for the safety of the dog in question.  I've seen others still where she's helped people financially for the sake of the dogs.  I don't always agree but I do have to agree with the rest that she's a classy lady and has a big heart.  I'd have to say there's a special place in Heaven for her.

Y.R. has the ability and the right to post whatever logo/avatar she likes and I'd defend her right to do that. I'd defend yours too if you chose to do so provided it wasn't obscene in some way.

What do you want to know about this car you are interested in?I hope you are buying it to transport your dogs?

I'm looking at a 1999 SAAB turbo 95. Nice car, white with gray leather interior, one owner. Asking price only $1K, but the turbo is blown. I'd be buying the car from a wholesale auction, so there's no warranty. If the car breaks in half, I'll own both halves.

I looked at the car this afternoon. It really is clean. The air even works, but smokes like a chimney, so can't take it for a test drive or bring it to a mechanic.  I only have a day or two to decide as others are also interested. My ex is a mechnic and he thinks he can buy a kit and fix the turbo for a couple hundred bucks. but no quarantee on that either. Should I take a gamble?

And yes, the dogs would be riding in the car. They love the taste of leather :)

If you want it bad enough you go for it girl.

First of all though think of-: Can you afford to buy it and restore or repair it.?

                                                 Can you rely on your Ex to do work on it?

                                                  You wouldnt want it standing too long be fore you could use it as that would be a complete waste of money and the car would deteriate more.

And the most important thing ,Have you asked the dogs what they think?

If you are here in the states RavenHawk, would you go up to someone who was driving the car in front of you and tell them they MUST take their McCain bumper stickerr off because it offends you? Give me a break and get a life! Ironically, the day BEFORE you sent your not so nice PMs to YR about her avatar, I had sent her one saying how much I loved it! Don't try to sugar coat what you are doing here. Your PMs were plain nasty and threatening, and now you are acting like you were just asking a simple question. Well, you got your answer,and then some.
