What's really ironic is that YR is allowed to express her opinion, but when RavenHawk expresses an opposing opinion, he/she is told to get a life.

Funny how freedom of expression works.

Whoa.  Y.R. is allowed to express her opinion as is everyone else.

Including Ravenhawk.  Including you, triodegirl.  There's no irony in it.

What is offensive is someone (Ravenhawk) asking someone else (Yellow Rose) to remove their expression of opinion to accomodate themself (her) or their own view/opinion then coming publicly and sending PM's when her request isn't honored.

Nope not ironic AT ALL!  Because "ravenhawk" is trying to TAKE AWAY  Yellow Rose's rights/privileges. Not even close to irony!

I don't mind high jacking at all.....:)

Triodegirl strangely enough my father and now my brother are in the used car business and have been for a great many year's now.    You can buy the gas guzzler's for a song.  Fuel efficient car's can not be found and are not cheep when you do.  Wholesale auction's are for profesional's and can be a bad place to find what your looking for.  Alway's have a car looked over by a real mechanic before you buy.   Used cars are sold as is, no guarantee.

I would pass on the Saab, they are well built until they start getting old and upkeep is high.

Buy from an individual and bargain.. also have it checked out before signing your life away ...:)

A used car dealer is a decendant of a horse thief who managed not to get hung..  buyer beware..LOL

Now back to the Horror !!!

I watched Apocalypse Now last night...:)

I think the point RavenHawk was trying to make was that political avatars would distract from the focus of this board, which is suppose to be the German Shepherd. A political avatar is much different than a seamonkey or someone pissing in their cheerios. I didn't get the impression that RavenHawk was trying to take away anyone's rights, but used YR as an example of what he was talking about. It was his opinion that refraining from the use of polirtical avatars might help in getting back to the purpose of this forum. At least that was my interpretation.

Seeing as nobody seems to give a crap about the purpose of this board, it's a moot point. I wasn't here in the beginning, but sure seems like the base of knowledge on this board has dimminished over the last few years.

Triodegirl,

Just ask an intelligent question about a dog and let's see how diminished the board has become.    That's insulting to more than a few in my opinion.

The word anal and how it involves us on the board?  Any opinion's as to why a GSD would ever possibly have this condition?   Is it contageous?

Sorry, just slipped out.  I'm done with this one, moving on.

Non productive jibber jabber.

Moon's.

Two Moons and Delsasmum, any guesstamites on how much it would cost to rebuild the turbo? I thought about stopping at a SAAB forum but have decided this board will now be my one stop fun spot. You know, free speech and all. Anyone who doesn't like it can leave :)

No guesstamite,

Foriegn part's and if the turbo is gone what else has reached it's life span?   How many mile's?

Shop time in a modern garage is probably 75 dollars an hour, dealership's are even higher and they wont fix one thing without fixing something else they consider related.

Just a turbo?  labor?  3 to 5 hundred is a blind guess.
