Two Moons, did you understand what I said? I said it seems like the knowledge base around here has diminished over the last few years, meaning some of the folks I regarded as experts don't come around much anymore. I didn't say there are NO experts here, just not as many. Why is that an insult?

On second thought, don't answer. I'm done with this thread.

...That's why I also frequent several audio boards, and moderate a BMW M3 forum. ...

I decided that my "logo" (borrowed) would be a bit offensive to youngsters.

Just out of curiousity, triodegirl, did you post on your BMW M3 forum about your SAAB?   Think carefully about others who may post there and know the answer.

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't you say you were going to start a new topic about this?

You were insulting.  In more ways than one.

Good luck with your SAAB if you decide to buy it.

Has anyone seen my leash?

Laughing is good for the soul and crying is a release of those endorfans that make us quesy.  Don't know which one did the best good.

Sure glad when the election is over so I can change my avatir and put    the DALLAS COWBOYS   pic up in the place of OOPS  WRONG ONE..MY , My got it wrong again,  How nice, found this...Malinda Julien and Armino vom Haus Bopp, grand sire of my Rex..how about that...

or one of my pups in the arms of a child.

VARIETY  is the spice of Life.  and I aint dead yet. It is not about individuals , Its about what individuals can do. Experience counts a lot less than judgements. Personal insults hold nothing of importance to me.

Triodgirl,

I used to sell Saabs. They are usually good for at least 200K miles, often a LOT more, especially anything made before GM bought the manufacturer and started changing the vehicles in '05-'06. Turbos rarely go, but if it does you're looking at a huge amount to replace it. My advice would be either to take a good Saab-savvy mechanic with you to check out the auction vehicle, or buy from a private party who will let you vet it at a shop, OR (best, but more $) buy a Saab-certified pre-owned vehicle from a dealership. Those come with a 100K bumper-to-bumper warranty, road service, free loaner SAAB if it has to go in the shop, the works.  Saab owners are some of the most loyal in the world. Once they have one, its nearly impossible to sell them something else. About 60% of my customers wouldn't even trade the old one in. they kept it, 200K+ miles and al, and gave it to their kids. I'd kill for a 9-3 convertable.

Good luck,

SS

Triodegirl.:  No , Riahhannon, has other things in mind or did. She pm'd YR two or ? more , threatening pm's , and she/or he, had not been a member here but only 5 or so days, and now she has pm;'d over Half of This BOaRD.    , TRYING TO GET HER /HIM. OR WHATEVER THEY MAY BE,

And I suspect , we have more than meets the eyes , here...No she did not just use YR as an example. YR never replied to her , and she threatened her to bring it to world war 111 on this board and threatened her by going to OLI...YOu think that is what a newcomer , here should do or find favor in all of us , by pming all of us and her   false posting , with no name and no one knows her.

Sorry, but YR, has lots of friends, and lots of years of making a reputation that cant be destroyed nor should someone pm or email her and tell her she has to take it down or

Sure, she is not going to remove it nor would I remove it either...I would put one up on mine, if I knew where to get one.

THe proof of a mans valor use to be how many scalps on his belt. Today , ones valor is  to  STAND UP AND BE FIRM  in what you morally believe in. YR never bows to popular demand. You won't find WHite german shepherds at her place, nor you wont find porno on her site...nor will you find a criminal in her midst..

That is all I think one needs be, is a firm believer and not walk on others...YR should run for governor of Texas, but finding a running mate might be tough..Maybe Desertranger, or Kay Bailey Hutchinson, who is one of Yr's former classmates and childhood friends...good team there...

Just note, Now a new name  , wonder why that is? Ravenwalker..dont bother to pm me.

correction     RavenHawk...  I am Indian and wonder where your new pun on that name came from?

Wicca involved here?

RavenHawk is a writer who has been teaching Shamanic Wicca for over a decade. ...www.twpt.com/warpacifism.htm - Cached

I used to be a big time car junkie but now just want cheap transportation back and forth to the local Schutzhund club :)  Sooooooo, think I'll take a chance on the SAAB. The ex thinks a seal kit will fix the turbo. Can't get much for $1K these days. I've seen some real junk sell for a whole lot more. My ex does work at the auction, otherwise I wouldn't be able to buy the car, as they don't sell to the public. Wish me luck. I'll post a picture of the SAAB next year when it's sitting in my driveway up on blocks with a big brown rust stain around it :)

You nailed this one YR. It is called "mobbing" a site.  McCain isn't my preference for a candidate, but he does appear to be an honorable man.  Actually I really don't know very much about him.   My preference was Ron Paul, a rigid constitutionalist who just happens to be a Republican.  I spent a lot of time looking into Ron Paul's platform, history and background and found it without fault and supportive of what I believe in (getting big parasitical gov't off our backs and obeying the Constitution). I do respect your preference for McCain and your right to place his photo as your avatar here on Oli's board.  I like your dogs, I like your independence and your spunk and I like you.  You are one tough cookie from the freedom loving state of Texas known for the motto "don't tread on me".

CRavenCawk

Get a life.  McCain sucks, but then again so do whiners.

I like the fact that Yellow put up that avatar.  It lets me know who the morons are.   Cowboys and McCain.  Brilliant!
