Why I Love the Sarah Palin Choice the most!!

Because (from a recent MorOn.Org email) it makes Democrats say things like this:

I think she's far too inexperienced to be in this position. I'm all for a woman in the White House, but not one who hasn't done anything to deserve it. There are far many other women who have worked their way up and have much more experience that would have been better choices. This is a patronizing decision on John McCain's part- and insulting to females everywhere that he would assume he'll get our vote by putting "A Woman" in that position

Let's do some subtle re-writing so that you can see why this makes me giggle so:

I think he's far too inexperienced to be in this position. I'm all for an African-American in the White House, but not one who hasn't done anything to deserve it. There are far many other African-Americans who have worked their way up and have much more experience that would have been better choices. This is a patronizing decision on the Democratic Party's part - and insulting to African-Americans everywhere that they would assume they'll get our vote by putting "An African-American" in that position.

He picked the best (wo)man for the job.

RPK, that last post was dead on.

Don't have time to respond to trace755 right now but I don't agree.  Personal responsibility.

Ok.  Now I have time to respond.

trace755:  That is the same mentality that the liberal democrats promote.

"Vote for us and the government will take care of you!"  It's disgraceful.  Absolutely no personal responsibility whatsoever.

People were advised to evacuate.  They chose not to and forced first responders (and second and third) to put their lives in danger (and the lives of their dogs) as a result.  It was a putrid, toxic mess in those waters.

The people who live there know what the risk is.  Don't whine and cry afterwards when the government and the nation isn't doling out food on your plate and water to drink.

It's been three years.  Damn long enough to have rebuilt lives ELSEWHERE instead of waiting for a handout from the government and the people who pay for it.

JOB!  PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY!

What a concept.

Aaah...nothin' like political posts to bring out the racism and idiocy of the American public.Has anyone considered that this is an INTERNATIONAL forum. I doubt that the rest of the WORLD wants to come on here, and read such crap! No wonder this board has lost the input of alot of knowledgeable people...too much BS to wade through to get to meaningful stuff.

If they dont want to read about this they dont have to...the subject line is pretty self explanatory.

HOWEVER -- when I was in Switzerland this past winter the Europeans (pretty varied mix) that where in my skiing class with me did quite a bit of questioning about the state of the upcoming election and the candidates....I think they're more interested than you may know.

Right on. NO MORE PANTSUITS!  Personally I like to see politician's in jeans, sneakers and casual shirts as much as possible so I can somehow imagine them walking in my shoes once in awhile, maybe sitting on the porch sharing a beer and discussing how to fix the world. I could see Palin holding fiesty puppies for their shots, her hair coming uncoifed and a muddy paw print on her sweat shirt, not worried about either. Can't say that about most of the rest of the politicians we're seeing this year.  LOL

A noted media figure once reported on having met with both Kerry and Bush at their homes during their campaigns. He was offered a drink in both homes, selecting a typical working man's choice both times. At Bush's his domestic brew arrived in a can offered from a bare hand. (no alcohol for dubb-ya, of course)  At Kerry's place a caefully groomed servant showed up with a selection of imported varieties on a silver tray with crystal glasses. I'm thinking the Texas version was a lot more fun than the upscale mansion version.

Just me. SS
