I want to thank so many for helping me last week when I was cheaped out of my money when I purchased a dog from a man in Florida. NO SHOW ON THE DOG as I expected. He also sold the dog to others which they e-mailed me Saturday. That was my Christmas present he took from me. Thanks Daniela Huppe for re-searching info for me. There are alot of excellent german shepherd people around the world so do not let this STOP someone from purchasing a dog from others. GOD BLESS HAVE A MERRY CHRISTMAS

This is very unfortunate for you and the many people that fell for this A$$. Just doing quick research I do not find the dog in the SV system or AKC registered. Not in the OFA database either. I assume you are in the USA Nashman and if so with amount of money you sent this is grand theft in the state of FL. I am sure it was over $500. I would pursue this and not let him get away with this. There are MANY reputable people around a shame a few bad eggs can spoil it. But like I tell people for the price of dogs now it is to cheap to fly in the USA (Maybe $300 round trip on many airlines), take a same day flight look at what you are buying if you like you buy and can bring back the dog for about $150 as excess baggage. Just my opinion. Good luck.

God, when are the breeders in the US ever going to learn to breed their own good dogs so people don't have to get ripped off like this all the time? Why don't you ethical brokers form some sort of an organization and promote your members to people who just have to have an import?

Hey you wild lady! How ya been?

by Charlie Ivory on 13 December 2004 - 17:12

Blitz, the deal was done betweent Fla and Tenn. The seller was claerly out to screw the people that fell prey to him.

by Blitzen on 13 December 2004 - 17:12

Wasn't the dog being imported, Charlie? Doing fine, thanks. How about you?

by Charlie Ivory on 13 December 2004 - 17:12

Well, was supposed to be,I bet taht was to make the deal sound even better.Bobby told me he had his doubts from the start, that it was too good of a deal.People shoud never second guess their themselves,if it sounds to good to be true it usually is.......... I'm doing good,it just pisses me off to no end when I read about crap like this.

People make it sound so easy to recover money from scams like this.you need to hire an Atty and after 8-10 hrs work you blow through what you have already lost money wise.......I think if I recall correctly he had to date only sent $1500 to this guy. I would write it off as a$1500 lesson,to bad,Bobby seems like a nice guy.One of the risks one takes buying ANYTHING online.
