Too late politicians want their donation for future elections. We lost, we little people always loose.

by Blitzen on 02 October 2008 - 14:10

I truly hope you are wrong, snajper69.

3 words for these F*CKIN TRAITORS...Tar, Feather & Rope

RepubliCRUDs & DemocRATS

Its only started then. We Will Remember  the Senators for this act of treason & House Members if it passes.

We WILL do everything in our power to campaign AGAINST them in November.  ( Challengers Signs posted on our lawns, voting for challengers-against all incumbents, donations etc)

We WILL call them out  as Traitors in the press, on radio, the Newspapers etc

We WILL let them know that their interests (Foreign Banks,) are NOT Our Interests.

We WILL Shun them & Send them back to their civilian posts in November

it hasn't been passed by the house - heard the vote was tomorrow (friday).  the house needs to approve it before it can become law, so it's still not too late to call your rep and convince him/her that s/he'll have your support if they vote no on the bailout.  i know my rep will vote no so there are some hold outs as well as support for those who won't kowtow to the pressure.

I hope everyone remembers this at election time when EVERY representative is up for re-election.  Not that it matters to them as they all continue to collect their pay and benefits even when voted out.  And they want to talk about getting rid of "golden parachutes?"  What a joke!

I signed Blitzen, hope they don't come and get me in my sleep! Wait the dogs will bark and wake me up, then what.... grim times ahead I fear.

Here's a little good news - I just spoke to Congressman Platt's local office and was told that the electronic messaging service to his DC office is overloaded and is no longer functioning due to a traffic overload. In fact, electronic messaging is not working for any representive and the phone lines are jammed. Sound like the American publc is showing up for the party again.

PLEASE contact your representative and let him or her know if you are not in favor of this bailout.  Can't hurt, can it?

Ditto to Ugly's above plan of action. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!

Wait, they say that banks will stop lending money if this doesn't pass.  Sounds like extortion to me.  BTW lending money is how banks MAKE money, how long do you think they will continue to refuse credit and cut off their own income?  Our representatives need to grow a spine (and maybe even a pair) and stand up to these terrorists in three piece suits.

We need a plan passed!   The little people like me will suffer big time.   No car loans, no retirement funds ( ready in time to retire) No good charge cards to import great dogs from Germany!

Doing nothing puts us in Depression II.    Bank foreclosures started this..........yes theGovernment/ Feds let us big time down.....we can take care of them when we get a plan in order!

It's like the massive train wreck we just had here in S California.    The engineer was found to be text messaging someone and blew a red light.  25 people are dead (including him) after they hit a freight train head on less than 78 seconds later!    My friend that died was an 18 yr old amazing High School Senior from China.   There is now a plan in place that train engineers cannot work with their cell phones,  a better situation, yes.............if he had lived he could have been prosecuted.  (like the Government/Feds that got us in this mess)

We need to look at the bigger picture, move forward, get a plan in gear..............THEN take care of the losers that got us here!

PS  I worked the GSD in here, because it WOULD effect my charge card rates/fees/availability!
