Not long back from Allertonshire open show, entry of 45??? classes consisted of 1,2, or 3 animals per class. Sammee Hunter their long standing Secretary is resigning this was her last show...There is no one as yet to take over-- this could potentially be the end of another GSD club with another set of Challenge Certificates lost.

Thats very sad for Allertonshire, Bolton a few weeks ago was entry of 44, I believe, even sadder is we seem to have no breed open shows in the South at all now, would have to travel at least 2 plus hours to an open show now, maybe that is part of the reason for us, purely logistics, we seem to only get to 4-5 shows a year because of the travelling distances nowadays.

Joyce, thanks again. Both of these years are now on the web.
Now staying with the 2 Day Shows, in the 1988 Catalogue there was an advert in the back
with regard to Video's of many of our Ch Shows fom 1981 - 1987 ( E P F Video Promotion )
I see that Paul mentioned watching the video from the 2 Day Show 1984.
Now the question is are there many of these videos still around & would any of you
be prepared to get them copied so as we/I could watch them also,
as many of you know we are avid collectors of GSD Memorabilia, much of which goes on the website,
we are currentley scanning many albums of photographs of past shows.
