I am sharing your sadness and thinking positive thoughts for this little girl. A sick dog is about the worst thing a dog lover will ever experience.

She is in surgery now. If there is too much necrosis, the surgeon will do a 'peep & sleep'. Her last x-rat didn't look good, fluid & gas in the peritoneum, which means the bowel may have ruptured. jh

She's out of surgery!!! The surgeon did not have to cut any bowel...it WAS an intussusception! He pulled the bowel apart & it pinked right back up! He stapled it up to the peritoneum so it hopefully will not happen again. Hoop-de-do! He said we are not out of the woods yet...she will get solid foods in the am.....thanks for your prayers...they worked!!!! jh

I know she is not out of the woods yet, but things are looking allot brighter than yesterday! I am happy for you and your beautiful lil girl!
